Pirate map update

- Player ships will no longer get shield damage on pirate maps. This was implemented to avoid players from farming Palladium with their P.E.T. while being away from keyboard. Players will now be logged out according to our auto-logout mechanism if they idle on the maps.

Could someone shed some more light on this update, as I live in 5-2 and collect ALL my uri from pirates which I pop, will the "No Shield Damage" effect me? Or has this been only directed towards 5-1 and 5-3 where palladium is found?

 

I think it means 5-3 & 5-1, only in the palladium mist. Because, the shield drop mechanism in mist, prevents accounts doing the 'auto log out' mechanism. By removing the shield drop, ships will log out automatically as usual even on pally mist...

I love this update. Ive been tellin ppl for months that afk palli farmin is not right. Finally DO figured it out as well, cant wait to see all the noobs cryin in chat cause they were logged out when they went afk.

 

DO could have gone just a little bit further and stopped shield damage as being a factor that affected log out in the mist.

But hay it also helps the palli collectors as when a noob hunter uses the palli field for easy kills, they will not have so much low shield from being in the mist.

 

Makes no difference to me they will all still pop ^^

 

This update i agree with, as the mist gave everyone an advantage in killing others because they have no shields as for pet pallying whats the pet used for huh, doing the jobs we hate lol but afk pallying in defo wrong and if they afk and they die its their own fault for going afk on a battle map lol best option is to log out then come back and pally while you are active personally i dont go in there because i cant remember the way haha
