Power Levels

Im an acitve player here and play almost every day. Hearing rumors and seeing proof of darkorbit trying to get new players to join is quite awesome but believe that players will just shoot the little noobs down with ease and the noobs will quit. Thats why i think the ability to shoot someone should be based on how much power they pack. This game is free to play right? So what im saying is if u put a level 5 free player against a level 5 who has already spent $100 or $200 on the game, guess who will win. The fairness has already been taken away. Im not saying the game isnt fair and i know every player has the ability to buy things at their own will but someone can buy their way to being a hard hitter very fast and kill almost anybody at their level range easily. Just saying, the developers should consider putting a power rating or level into the game so the game can be a little more fair because even at my level there are people that hit twice as hard as me and kill me very quickly. Please consider this.

 

well paying players(like me) need to have an advantage over free players of course. It is a pvp game and that's the risk.

 

I agree with you Seth, but also with Bounty Hunter. If the devs done this then people wouldn't want to spend so much hitting this hard cos they'll just be seeing messages everywhere saying "you cannot shoot this player", and they would end up losing tens of thousands of pounds.

The idea is good but BigPoint is a business so anything that is going to affect their biggest spenders is not going to happen (that's why we have UFE in the first place, FE's wanting to spend more!)

 

If all was fair in this game it would not be very interesting.. This is a pvp game it is the players choice if they want to shoot low levels, personally I do not shoot players with small ships.
