Priority Alpha 18

The quest says to kill 30 ships and collect ore from destroyed goliaths. I have killed 30 ships and collected cargos from many goliath ships and it still says 0/200 for ore collected and will not let me move on to the next part of the mission. I aborted the mission and have started it over and still cargo boxes collected from destroyed goliath ships is still at 0/200. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like you have to kill 30 enemy players then after that. collect ore from goliaths. If you've killed 30 enemy's this second time an still cant get ore from goli's then you'll probs need support

Try to destroy 30 Goliath's first and them destroy 1 more enemy Goliath and collect its cargo it should count as the quest description says complete in order.

Do you (the original poster) have any further questions or can we close?

 

The person said they killed 30 ships already people =.= I am guessing these players you killed are caring no ore on them, which is common, as every time I kill someone there is like maybe 10 ore on them if even that... Or it says a specific ore which they are not carrying. This is one of those missions people would need to be lucky REMOVED since DO likes to make dope quests sometimes impossible.

 

I have killed the 30 goliaths and at this point have killed about 100 more collecting cargo from them. Some of which are indeed empty cargos however many of them are not. The count on the collected 'ore' is still 0/200. I cant be 100% sure but almost sure some of the goliaths I have destroyed have had multiple kinds of rocks on their ship leaving a cargo containing a little of almost every ore and still the count is at 0. The quest does not specify what type of ore needs to be collected from destroyed ships so this leads me to believe it can be any type of ore. I will check the next goli cargos i gather and make sure I have gotten a sample of every kind of rock from them. The quest does say do it in order though this area is highlighted all together which really shouldnt make much difference as the 30 ships are already counted. Thanks again for the help.

 

Figured it out had to bee 200 rocks off a cargo from a Classic Goliath, diminshers, venoms, bastions, enforcers, and such dont count when you gather their cargo. Silly DO could at least put that info in the quest so we know... lol

 

Guess I won't be doing that mission anytime soon, I haven't seen a classic goliath in the maps for months...
