Private Clan Maps

  1. Like the name implies clans will now be able to have their own maps that they can level up and customize as they so choose. Clans will now work like pets do and you will have to level them up slowly and purchase features to unlock new things such as your clan map, new weapons, new shields, or adding your clan logo to the map along with custom colors to the base.

    BASE
    The clan base on the map will be like the bases in x-1 or x-8 maps so you can change ships, sell things, take out missions etc. You can add your clans logo, and customize the bases colors for the cost of ??? uri. The bases will have an already set up defense system and will work like the pilot sheet does. If you want more damage for weapons you upgrade that, more shields for your weapons or base upgrade shields, more damage for the clan members against the maps npc then upgrade that and so on.

    Getting there
    You can access your base at any time by using the jump chip and jumping to a public map. You will then be able to go to 1 of 3 ports. Your clan port, Allies clan port(which will be a similar popup to jump chip), or enemies clan port(same as allies works).

    NPC
    As you unlock npcs by leveling the clan you can add them to the map by purchasing that certain npc(s) pack from a payment similar to premium. Npc will be non aggressive until shot at. Anyone can purchase it for the clan by clicking a link on the clan page. Whether or not you are a member after the purchase of the pack it still stays with the clan you were in at the time of the purchase.

    Allies/Wars
    Your allies will be able to hunt with you in the map, but they will receive a lesser reward than the members of the clan. Your enemies will also be able to attack your base(your map will not allow enemies to pass and they will only be able to attack the base). Your clan can only attack bases that are within 10 of yourself, so if your ranked 1 u can attack 1-11, 2 1-12, 10 1-20, and so on (or something to that effect). The base will have 16 turrets that must be destroyed before reaching the 5 main parts of the base. The turrets can only be replaced after a period of 24hours for ??? uri without enemies passing your front lines, Your front lines will be a placement of 4 turrets that can be replaced at any time for ???uri. Replacement will work the cbs do and take 4minutes to be actively attacking enemies again. Turrets will attack multiple enemies but slowly reduce how much they hit judging by the amount of enemies they have to target. You can only destroy 1 of the 5 parts of the base per ???hour period and only access an enemies base once every 3hour period. The parts can be repaired but it will take longer than the wait time of attacking again.

    Base Destuction
    You will still have access even after the base has been destroyed, but all npc will disappear until the base has been rebuilt for a cost of ???uri. The base will have a period of 72hours after destruction that shields will protect every part of the base.

  2. i think it would add a lot of fun to the game, but i think that npcs should b uridium bought just cuz i don't really like spending money to get the thing im trying not to spend money to get, +1

  3. do u have to buy the new enemies or will they be in waves? like buying certin amont like 100 lordikida at a time, or will u buy lordikida and they spawn on the map. can have more than one npc that was bought on the map at a time?
     
  4. You buy lordokia and they spawn on the map. If you buy 1months worth they stay that long just like how premium works (buy a month get a month). And maybe have it be capped at a certain amount i.e 1 uber of any type 1 boss of any type 1 normal of any type or something like that

  6. Im not really sure I get the point of having a clan map. Why does one need it? Everything you are speaking about can be done in any map regardless. The only difference is the purchase of npcs. And even that idea I dont like because players will only remain in the clan map. Dont get me wrong, I like the imagination here, but this may be on the wrong side. You can make a base in any map except x1 and x2, you will already have turrets and missled on battestation. SO I am not sure what is the need for a clan map. This will serve no purpose when your clan ceases to exist. And again, i think that this will keep players off of other maps. This gets a No from me. Sorry.
     
  7. The idea here is to add more of a diversity in game. We have had the same maps forever and clans, even with cbs, still can have more of a reason to get new things added to them. They have had the same construction since they came out, with very few things added. When your clan ceases to exist the map you made will just disappear and everything you spent to level the clan map have been for nothing. And yes people can just stay in their clan maps but why would that be a problem?

It would be a problem Maximus because it lessens the interaction with the entire server. also i dont understand what you mean by this "Your enemies will also be able to attack your base(your map will not allow enemies to pass and they will only be able to attack the base)." I just dont think adding a clan map is a functional idea. Adding another map in general is definitely a needed thing, but something that is soley for the clan may disrupt the server game play. Im just looking at it from a gamer/developers perspective. If you could detail the actual benefits of this, I might be able to see the power of it, but creating npcs based on level of clan can also lead to the return of BOTTING. If players can enter your map only to destroy your base, that means that the players can farm and bot (and yes there are new programs that DO is working very hard to prevent from being accessed in the game. Thanks, I appreciate the hard word DO does to stop this).
     
  9. I hate clan...why...WARs that why..just shootin' your own company for no reason other than some drama. The Clan Gate doesn't offset the benefits of being in a clan.

    i like it, they do this same thing another game except without the npcs and it works out pretty well.
