Pulse Cannon Design

The design I am proposing offers a pulse blast from the lasers against NPC's only.
The pulse fires a mega shot every 5 laser volleys that is activated with the first laser volley.
It inflicts laser damage based on 5% of the ships maximum shield strength, a restricted max of 4k dmg will be imposed for a single shot without changing ammo.

A 50 to 1 tax on ammo for the mega shot will be imposed concerning the amount of ammo used.
The color of the lasers will be a dark purple while this design is equipped.
This design is available for all ships and offers a lite and dark purple ship skin.
Only LCB ammo may be used with this tech.

The suggested price for this item is 100K Uri.
And it will be open in trade.

 

Every 5 secs plus it auto fires?

To much tone it down a little.

 

I have to be honest and say that I don't like this Idea. Sure it's for NPC's only, but It is just not Practical. It can only be used with X1, I get that. The plus 50 Tax on the Ammo does that mean it would cost 15 Credits? (LCB-10=10 Credits*.5=15 Credits) It just Seems a little to confusing for me, Can you explain more about how much Damage this "Mega Shot" would do?

What way would you suggest to tone it down if the volley change isn't enough for the mega pulse timing.

 

I would say the "Mega Shot" would happen every 30 Seconds and can be used towards NPC's/ Players and Does a Standard Damage of 5 Percent the Players Over All Health

 

I know you are trying to help noobs out, but what noob has 90k uri to spend on a laser, that they wouldn't spend on a goli/ vengeance??

 

Oh hey, this idea is open to anyone that can afford to get it.
I been looking more to assisting FE pilots for a change.

@Apollo: I love the idea of your suggestion considering a ships HP's to determine what the mega shot damage will be but it may make this an even more lopsided idea in the bigger ships favor.
Let's try shield strength.

There is something wrong with the lack of new options....

This idea is just confusing and it just wont work and also I agree with cooljak96 that people dont really like this idea. Also there is loads of new opinions on here.

The price is not what we don't like.

 

With all them assisting suggestions, it was hard to tell.

 

More uridium to spend for something i dont think so please. This idea is just making my brain spin :L it just wont work.

 

I understand this idea may not work for everyone, the option for assisting suggestions is always open for the enlightened and even for the less than understanding to prevent brain spinning, confusion and fits of absurdity.
