Pushing?

Hmm. I am currently playing on a server with two diff accounts, and no, i do not kill my own ships as it is both in the same company. I do help my "noob" ship with credits. My question is, is that considered pushing? i posted on another thread about pushing but a mod closed it as the OP did not reply for quite sometime. lol.So yea.. what is pushing? is it just killing my own ship or does it apply to credits as well?

 

If I remember correctly, that is considered pushing as 1 ship is helping the other to advance in the game. It is ok to have multiple ships on same server but they cannot have any interaction with each other, meaning they cannot help each other do a quest or by pumping credits from 1 to the other through a clan.

If you are using two ships at one time (helping with kills or any kind of interaction to boost any of the ship for personal gains) then that's against the rules of the game as it termed as pushing or boosting. Helping 1 ship with another by any means is not allowed and if you are caught doing so you will get suspension for same.

If you are using two accounts at the same time and they are not in any way interacting with each other then that is not against the rules.
For instance you could be chatting on one accounts and playing on another.

If you create a clan or just have 2 accounts in the same clan and one gives the other any credit that is pushing. See Below:-

Furthermore, even in Games permitting Users to have multiple accounts, communication, or any kind of interaction whatsoever, between accounts of the same User is prohibited (ban on 'pushing'). In particular, an Account may not be used to create advantages for another Account from the same User, for example, to transfer items or game currency from one Account to another Account of the same User, or to allow one Account to fight against another Account of the same User.

Ah, okay. That explains a lot. And now, it is considered pushing, but what if right now, I just leave my new ship's (as it is in the same clan as my main ship) clan, that will nullify the "pushing" effect, right? Okay, as I have consulted with forum, that does not mean I will get caught right? LOL. I will leave the clan as of right now. lol. :O Thanks all for the clarification and the terms and conditions for DO, because i was searching for it high and low.. lol. could not find it.. haha
