The 32 auto drone rep CPU.

Do I need to have one on both configs for the drones to repair or do I only need one? Cause right now I have it for both of my configs.

it will rep your drones on whatever config you have it on im guessing so if you only have it on one config it will only rep your drones on that config.

  3. I would recommend auto repping your drones, I have known many users where the chip has failed them and their drones have went kaboom altogether.

  4. Never had a drone repair chip in almost six years, so what I do is Hangar / Equipment / Drones, click on the drone that's at 95% damage, then click the Repair option, job done. However, doing it manually like this does leave you open if you forget to check drone status now and again, but I haven't lost a drone for a couple of years now and I've got the slots for more important stuff.

Thank you all for your assistance in this thread.

It is always advised to have your Drone Repair CPU on both configurations, this is something support will always ask if you every query them regarding a destroyed drone.

I cannot find any official information that states it is required on both configurations, however we will always advise players to equip to both configurations if they do rely on the CPU to repair their drones.

Does the original poster have any further questions on this topic?

If I may be so rude as to add this to my colleague's post above (Sorry DDraig).

If you only have your drone repair CPU on config 1 and the death that destroys your drones happens when you are using config 2 (or vice versa), you will lose your drones and support will not return them. It has always been advised that you should have your CPU on both configs OR repair them manually. ALSO if your CPU does not have enough charges left or you don't have enough uri/rep credits you will lose drones.

Personally I always check my drones and repair them manually at 90%. I have never lost a drone.
