Rank Points have blown up!!

I dont know about you but come on rank points for major have skyrocketed over the last 3 days, 56 k increase how the heck does that happen??? there have not been any major events to be able to gain that many rank points in this time frame, and the company I am in has only lost 30 players in that time frame, clearly someone or something is manipulating something to make these points bounce this much in 3 days....

What are your thoughts all???

 

What rank are you? 56k in 3 days is just moderate gate bashing, they wouldn't even need a honor booster to achieve that with gates.

 

That is easily obtainable by someone doing Kappa gates for hercules, as they give roughly 5k rank points per gate, dont underestimate how fast rank points can be gained, for someone with the uri and time to do GG's you can rise in rank points significantly quickly.

 

most likely it's just accounts going inactive. less people means less of each rank to go around. so if a bunch of new players go inactive rank points go up. of course the opposite could be true as well. if old players, with high rank points, come back rank also goes up.

 

last week i needed 30K rankpoints for next rank , basic colonel , another day i needed 270k and now , one week later i need 350k , while i got like 30k rankpoints whole week

As you can see from the above, the points have gone up, I do not think every player in EIC is bashing gates and the amount of players that have left (banned or inactive) is minimal

 

All it takes is for the lowest Major to be the one making the rankpoints, not every EIC player. Also company stats aren't a good basis to go off since lv1 accounts don't count towards the ranking system and the majority of members are just lv1 accounts.

 

50% honor booster was released yesterday or if your on Global Europe servers Tuesday night. 56k rank points is about 5.6 mil honor (not counting XP or ships kills etc). With 70% honor boosters, full honor pilot points, pincer and exalted that's 794219 honor. 5.6 mil honor is 7 kappas with the afore mentioned criteria, of which it's achievable to do - I probably made 56k rank points yesterday too and last honor event I made 180k in 1 day.

Long and short of it is, 56k is very reasonable and I don't think he's exploiting anything. One thing you could do is monitor ship kills to look for large increases in your companies major ship kills.

 

56k increase isnt much few weeks ago i was 200k off chief major, now im 450k off rank dont mean much anyway so i just earn rank points slowly

 

i've noticed along with some clan members that rank point change sometimes in our favor when we go inactiv for a while lol. there would be times when i would come back from a break and i would be near the high point to the next rank. there are clans out there that do gates like hades and kappas with their boosters and their CBS boosters, it all can stack up fast. as for me i have never gone back up from Major/Chief Major lol all that company switching. Still love the time i play online.
