Rarely do I complain, but....

I logged on today to see my account credited with 2 Booty keys and 50 gate spins. If that is the reward for the Battle for Influence (ranked 18th on East1), then it was definitely not worth everything that went into completing the quests and killing npc's for 9 days straight.

The competition was though, specially when you can be as high ranked as anyone else if you're able to pop streuners and lordakias in 1 shot. I myself decided right away to only get only 20.000 influence points in order to get all the achievements unlocked.

 

Yeah the rewards weren't amazing (don't think any event will ever has as good a rewards as the Solar Clash did), they were listed in the FAQ as people have already mentioned though.

There is semi-good news though, influence is going to be directly related to a upcoming feature called Loyalty so a high influence score now could be seen as an investment in the future for Loyalty.

Actually, I split my time in almost every map but the "5" maps, but here is a rare occasion...me agreeing with Stillwrong, I should have just quit at 20k, and would have if I had seen the section on the rewards....oh well.

 

I feel you for your anger. But when has any event provided great rewards? The only on I can think of was the hitac event and maybe the pirate event which for some reason hasnt occured anymore.

 

Well, like VintageAion and Stillwrong correctly pointed out, I should have read all the threads before I got into it, no one forced me to do it, I just didn't have all the information. If I had seen that thread, I more than likely would not have done as much as I did. Moderator go ahead and close this one. I had no reason to complain at all, I just jumped into it without checking it out completely.
