Refugee Support: "Beacon" Drone Design FAQ

Dear DarkOrbit players,

In troubled times, Bigpoint, as an international company with employees from all over the world, has always raised money for charity organizations to help those in need.

Currently, one issue has become so visible and so severe in scope that we must not ignore it:
By the end of 2014, a UNHCR annual report states, "59.5 million individuals were forcibly displaced worldwide as a result of persecution, conflict, generalized violence, or human rights violations."[Source: UNHCR Global Trends 2014]

They often travel long distances with only the bare necessities and while under terrible stress, hoping only to be humanely accommodated, fed, and clothed. While we cannot change the circumstances that have driven these people from their homes, we do want to help them.

That is why we are supporting the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR.org).

“The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees was established on December 14, 1950 by the United Nations General Assembly. The agency is mandated to lead and co-ordinate international action to protect refugees and resolve refugee problems worldwide. Its primary purpose is to safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees. It strives to ensure that everyone can exercise the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge in another State, with the option to return home voluntarily, integrate locally or to resettle in a third country.” [Source: UNHCR: What we do]​

We, the DarkOrbit team, are now asking you to help us in our endeavor. Our team has created the "Beacon"Drone Design to support all refugees worldwide,regardless of religion, origin, or reason for leaving their home.

FAQ

· This charity sale runs from 12pm Tuesday, 15 September through midnight Wednesday, 30 September 2015. (local Hamburg time UTC+2)
· This glowing drone design (either for a single drone or as a set of ten) does not have any game-play impact and does not give any advantages or disadvantages.
· The Beacon design is available as direct purchase only. You can get either a single drone design or a set of ten.
· The drone designs work in 2D as well as in 3D.
· All proceeds from this sale – including any transfer and banking fees we can cover - will go to the UNHCR.​
