Remove Company Protection (Reason)

It's time it goes, there was a thread on it, but so many people rejected it the OP requested it closed, i will give a perfect example as to why company protection has to go. It's abused by new players who realize they can keep it if they do not do the beginner missions. Pay close attention to this screen shot scrubs, and stop saying "Keep it".

Similar to the last thread, the solution isn't to just remove the protection in my opinion. It's really good for new players, this guy isn't a new player though, his 559 hours makes that a little clear. It would be better to automatically remove the protection after something like 10 hours of playing time.

 

I agree with you, but people still say don't let it be, a CM in chat told me "seems like they're just smart and i don't think it's abusing" It's a little unfair a player can box in battle maps and not be shot down.

 

It is a good bot protection system too, isn't it?

 

The funny thing is, that player is just moving around 3-4 stopping randomly then moving again, pretty sure he's using the current way of getting around in maps lol.

 

Yeah it is unfair, however a mods opinion on an idea carries no more weight than a players, especially if it's just a CM.

 

I'm also impressed . I would have to kind of agree with the CM on this, Okapi's idea would probably work though.

 

This player is still teething LOL. Well picking up boxes as a noob is such an un-nooby strategy. Congrats to them.

 

well perhaps switching the format to a timer. every game I play has a limited amount in wich you have protection status. it should be 7 days of proctection status no more. Dream Demon perhaps u can start a thread on that issue.

The thread can remain as is, but the idea can change, the point of it is, something should be done about the abusing of a protection system in a PvP game.

 

Well, not everyone has the time to become FE in 7 days.

I think # of playing hours should be a factor (or THE factor) in deciding the Protection status of a Player.

 

7 days is ample time. look is either this or complete protection removal that dream demon is requesting. I don't want that lol so I we need to get our ideas on spmething that will wrk

 

I think it should be based off of playing hours. Maybe 10-20 playing hours maybe?

 

Also another thing. He still has protection, because he's not level 7.
Level 7 is where the beginner missions AND the protection goes away~
He must have figured that out and is somehow managing to keep himself strong enough (willpower) to level up.

 

Either way. It's unfair he can go around enemy maps, and not be touched, and just keep boxing until he has enough uri to survive.. He's already in Aegis, clearly abusing it.

 

This player has all flaxes (no irises)...what a flake - yeah, right. Get when this ship gets Apis and Zeus.

Not noob bashing... Besides, if he's going into enemy maps, he should be an open kill. Already reported him to support and they're gonna be looking into it to see if it's considered abusing.

 

Yea enemy maps IS crossing the line.
