Returning player needing help with everything!

    Aight, so I just decided to come back and give this game a try for old times sake. I used to play back when the SLK clan was a big deal and back when Goliath ships actually looked cool (aka before the big graphic overhaul). I had a min maxed (then, I suppose I gotta do some more buyin if I still wanna min max lol) orange Goliath with full uridium drones as well.

    Now my question is, what is the most overpowered ship right now, as I will be mostly playing solo and trying to pvp as much as possible. Played wow for 3 years and literally only pvped day in day out for 3 years (aka I like pvp, I despise pve).

    Also can anyone provide a min max guide for the suggested ship as I wanna buy Best in Slot items.

    well, Goliath is still the best ship. And Im guessing you need 45 LF-4's and pet? you will have to pve a lot to get those items unless you buy keys right off the bat and use them on zeus event so you get apis and zeus drones.

    The game has changed massively Subversus, you proabably left just after skylab came out, after that was bio then pet then upgrades. The game itself, well wallet warriors have an even bigger gap now totally tipping the balance in their favour. You can be hit over 200k with combo's, and with new drone designs this damage penetrates shields and wipes your HP.

    As a player for many years in my opionion the game has got better in regards to variety and interaction, but graphics have been sacrificed and the music that replaced the old darkorbit background music is just plain stupid. Now will be a challenging time for you to start back up, but it will be fun (and very frustrating) getting there.

    Bounty is right, goli is still on top with many designs for additional features - but the game is so dynamic now that you could hunt in a spearhead (recon ship with only 5 lasers) and do decent damage. Give er a try, theres more now than ever up for grabs you just have to persist.
