Robin Williams: Beloved Actor Dies

I know this is not game related, but as a lover of his films and absolutely incredible acting talent, I would like to create this message in commemoration of his work.​

His wife Susan Schneider, issued a statement after the tragic news.

'This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings.

'I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief.

'As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin's death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.'

His family also issued this statement on the tragic passing of the Oscar winner.

'Robin Williams passed away this morning. He has been battling severe depression of late,' Mara Buxbaum, press representative, said in a statement.

'This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.'

R.I.P Robin​

 

RIP Robin. I am profoundly shaken and saddened by this tragic loss. I have loved Robin Williams ever since I first saw him as Mork and then even more when his incredible genius was revealed to me through his standup comedy. In addition to his celebrity and great acting and comedic talents he was just from all accounts a uniquely awesome and wonderful human being. The world seems diminished by his loss.

I hope you found the peace you were reaching for Robin. You will be remembered and loved and deeply missed by many for many many many years.

I can only hope that by some twist of fate we end up on the same planet at the same time again in the future.
