Save Configs

I wasn't talking about another config. I was talking about saving your configuration in a template as the op described. I just happened to call the option to have additional ones a "config slot." Equipment tempate = a configuration. Again, you misunderstood. Don't worry about it.

Still don't get why this would be a good idea. You can't use equipment that are on one ship in another ship for a reason. Won't flame or promote the idea. I'm neutral over here.

 

The point is it would make it easier for people who want to either move equipment from one ship to another or set up different configs for hunting, cubing or gates etc.

 

The point is in moving equipment around. The percentage of people that have double equipment for every ship they have is really low. I have Goliath and Vengeance for example, FE Goliath. When I want to fly the vengeance, I de-equip everything from the Goliath and equip all manually in the Vengeance. When I want to get back to Goliath, same process again. With the templates, you will just one click and everything will be set up.

 

to be honest 3rd configs wouldnt work because that mean having to hit 'c' or the config button 3 times and it would be confusing not to metion annoying but thats what i personally think

 

I have written above too. I don't know why you people talk about 3rd config and pressing c, when this is about something else? It's about saving templates of items you are equipping to the ship.

 

It's a great idea. Will definitely save time changing hangers.

Its a good idea. I hate having to constantly chance my configs and items from one ship to another. This will make it easier for many players who just get tired of the same ole move this move that control c here blah blah blah. This gets a + from me.
