Saving configs

Hey all,
I have many hangars and ships, and I like using different ships for different things, but it's so much time to delete 2 configs and make an another 2. Usually the groupmates go away and the reason why went to change my ship falls into disuse.

So my idea is that we should be able to save configs. Minimum 1x2 is free for all ships and 2x2 3x2 4x2 is buyable for 25-50-100k uri (for all ships). Premium gives 1x2 more configs.
We'd save and name the saved configs like hangars. You could save only 2 configs (so a totally configurated ship) together.
They put in delete button, then put save button too!

I've written it to my own country's forum, they liked it, but it's a little forum for a little server everything is hidden there.

Yeah I know too, but the hacks/cheats/bots/losers/who cares/whatever is clever - will take advantage of this feature to a new a hole new level...bummer sadly, NO.

Would be very useful for the players and therefore is extremely unlikely to happen. I think BP would rather cling to the belief that the current headache of transferring equipment between hangars is enough to drive players to continue spending to acquire multiple hangars worth of equipments.

I would like to see this update.

 

Hmm i think it's an ok idea. Only takes me 45 seconds to completely reconfig anyway though >.>

 

For you, that's good. I have too weak laptop (now, for 1-2 weeks). I think for me it's 2-3 mins, min. 2-3 times a day.

Some items should not be in the clean out routine for changing configs. A big example would be the PET exclusive equipment. The same PET is useable by all ships in a player's hangar; so, the equipment should stay with the PET thru all changes. It would be nice to be able to have other items shared across the ships, but it would be a bit odd.

+1 I'm tired of switching ships its always a pain. At minimum maybe allow it to lock certain parts of the ship when clearing it? I.e you are not able to lock drones, generators, or lasers but you get to lock your extras, that alone would save some time. Also maybe give pet its own hangar rather than having to have to redo pet everytime u decide to switch ships as well.
