[SC] 2010 darkorbit back (asap please)

Ok this is it, i cant take this any longer the game is a sad joke right now:
cartonish ships, horrible events, the ridiculous overpower... no players the tons of bugs the lag...

The only reason i stil play is because i can sometimes fill the old darkorbit when im pvping around in my droneless ship. The nostalgia had reached the limite, i miss those times when u could pvp with anything that made dmg given u had skill ( BIGBOY POWAAAARR ) when there was balance (no 300k dmg and 2M shields) when there was a lot of players (10 per gate every were) when the peanut was OP . Back then (~before bio) no one botted because the game was fun as heck. Players actualy played, no one cared about gates. There was no mccs and Fe had respect for new players because they whanted a fair fight (the adrenaline rush...).
And last ...the graphics were adult ! It actualy looked like real spaceships but at the same time u knew it was a game (the right balance betwen real and fiction).
Now there is nothing. I see alot of youtubers quiting DO just because it is so boring.

So i whanted to ask u guys if u miss it and whant it back or if i am the only one that fills this way.

Yeah I miss them too. Kinda liked the look of the old npcs and ships.

 

I remember watching a stream where the developers of the game gave answer to some questions. One of the questions was related with this old-school thing and they said it won't happen. It has been asked many times by players if they would bring back the older version of the game and it has actually been done (at least once).
They released "Uridium Wars" (correct me if I am wrong) witch was basically Facebook-version of DO and it was different compared to the main servers back then (it had 2011 features such as no apis/zeus, LF-4 and no drone formations etc, while other servers were running the 2012 clients). I've never played on that server but I bet you can find some videos of it. The server was then discontinued (early 2013) and I don't know the reason for that (maybe nobody currently in charge knows lol.)
With this game I would say never say never since they have done so many changes over the years and I can see this happening but I don't see it the most likely thing to happen any time soon (developers are currently focused on the new features like events, ships and items of the current game according to my understanding after watching their streams.)

 

Old graphics were op u could actualy imaging them operational in space

The negation of the old school server was a big disapointment not only for me but alot of retired players. Alot of them would even pay that fee they had in mind has i have read on pvp and redit.

I never played (unfortunatly) Uridium wars but i read it had more players than the actual darkorbit. Besides the fact that it had no ufe gear i saw in videos that they used the old client npc skins wich is an overpowered combo .
