[SC] 9 Pet Salve worth it?

So i have Tractor Bean 2 , and double box , my question is if does it worth unlocking at least 6 protocol slots (3>9) and buying the protocols for the +1 extra energy and +54% to base if pet collects ,or that amount of uri (around 400k) can be used in a better way like 350 keys.

Preferable if someone uses a box PilotBio or at least used

 

I would set a BOXING ship up with all the Pilot Bio and Salvage Protocols as possible IF I was a boxer. It is expensive to do all at once but if you have premium, rebate, doubler, and the 25 percent savings currently offered you are talking 55% off the current rate for the Protocols. Boxing on 4-x maps where you get 1 1/2 more than normal maps and all the pet stuff along with the bio could be much better than what you are currently spending.

 

I have full boxing protocols, their only worth it during Spaceball and when a good event bonus box is released. Other than that, it's worthless.

I suggest investing in damage protocols and having your PET hit a lot harder. It can shoot up to 15-25k whites, assuming your LF4s are upgraded.

 

i'm not yet fe , so no way my pet will ever hit 15k xD

and i'm playing in GA1 , and at spaceball there are around 30-50 guys near portal , and other who place bombs xD no point on going there

 

Again as a growing ship, doing boxing for improvements then doing the protocols will pay for themselves in the long run, but only on a boxing ship not if you plan to be fighting with it.

 

your pet can get very expensive... i have a maxed out pet ie 1 lvl 3 salvo, 11 lvl 3 radar protocols. running 1 salvo and 11 radar gives me the luxury of roaming the map with out having the pet on my butt. a non boxing bio i normally have boxing doubler
you can get 10k uri an hour easy and your pet can cover 80% of the map while your doing your own thing
any thing else is pointless you can lose an easy 500k uri getting every thing else

 

well atm i have 3 radars , and got tractor bean just because i use double box and that is the main way i get uridium and gates (second is let pet loot while i fight bks but that is like 1/2 of the uridium and even less spins , but i need creds for bids) , do u think i should invest in radars atm ? or just use the uri to get lf4s and upgrade drones , anyway when i'm the battle maps i have to room the entire map and don't see how can my pet be more usefull with more radars xD (was asking about slavage because they increase the gg spins from 4 to 5 so i guess around +10-15/hour)

 

Again, it is how YOU want to play the game. IF you want CREDITS transfer from the SkyLab to the ship as often as you can (premium to a Citadel is 9000 without any Bio 9320 with Bio transfer rate is 1000 per hour) you can transfer 500 per hour without premium and I am making 1.5 million every 6 hours with my non-premium level 10 Goli, which depending on what time I am bidding gets me 3 LF-3's, 3 BO-2's, and 3 7900 speed generators a week. If you have multiple Hangars and don't like having to equip all of the Drones and PET's all the time you need the additional Gears and Protocols anyway so just buy them and see how they work for you, however, you missed the big savings as these are off the % sale now (prem/reb/% gave 55% discount).

 

Atm i cannot even support 1000 prom an hour , only 750 xD , and 560 from that goes on my sepron , also the citadel is 1.2B on my server. By the time i stop needing sepron for the last bio points and rockets/shields i will prob need no anymore credits xD. i do around 10-20m/h killing bks/shoting into cubes

 

You need to upgrade the SkyLab, I generate 4536 a day on Seprom and transfer it every night to my USA West Premium Citadel and this gives my Promerium 4560 a day. Once a week I shut of the Seprom Refinery so I can send a load of Promerium extra a day. I boost my generators, rockets, and lasers and never run out of boosted anything at this point.

Hi... I see plenty of good opinions above and rather than refer to any in particular..

I didnt see any mention of Luck I and LuckII which boost the content of Bonus boxes for Uri...
I box a lot as it suits my way of life and game play... The Pet is, as stated above, a luxury, but one that I would not personally be without ..
I have Rebate, Doubler and Prem also 12 Salvage protocols on one config and 12 Radar on the other thus saving me having to change everything... I only use and Radar with the Salvage when there are Special boxes involved as I feel then there is an appreciable difference in the distance the Pet travels, on BIO I have Luck I+II and also Tractor Beam II... This is about as much as you can do/have to boost your boxing I believe.. and yes saving and buying on Discount days . Expensive luxury, hell yes but I'm worth it
I have built my ship to just below UFE now on boxing alone (I never liked the hassle of Cubing or Pally as the bullies seem to congregate near where weaker ships are trying to build) although I have to say it has taken me time... I have taken my own route to get where I am and many would disagree, and maybe they are right, but I am happy...

 

Well Luck 1 and 2 are Even more Expensive luxury , and i would say they don't affect as much as TB2 , and at the current point of my pilot bio will take more uridium to upgrade those 2 than to get 9 slavage.

Can you tell me how much average you make/h in Battle maps , with 12 radars vs 12 salvage vs 9 salvage and 3 radars , hoping i'm not asking too much.

I mostly spend my time collecting boxes since i think is the best way to get fast UFE , but considering i'm not even Semi-UFE what would you do if you were in place , go for more conventional things , ex: havocs , lf4 , apis , zeus . or furthermore invest in your pet

 

The PET is a Permanent Item and an investment in him pays off in the long run. Doing Zeta gates will give BK-100's to help collect from Chests (Apis, Zeus, and LF-4 better on special days). Epsilon, Hades and Kappa give chance at LF-4's.

If all you are doing, currently, is boxing I would buy the Salvage Protocols (if you can get level 3 stuff), buy the doubler on subscription ($18 USD every 8 weeks), and box like heck in the 4-x maps as they are 1.5 more than regular maps. You can always use them on other ships in the future, if you decide it is not working as well as you want.

 

2 radars and that's it - me advice - 2 lvl 3 pickups of whatever it is grand

PET picks ups up closest to you Therefore nullifies anything else
