[SC] Ads...Ads...Ads... and More Ads

I just want to know if the rest of you are insulted by these multiple part ads...or am I just being a wuss? I know no one is forcing me to watch ads, to save time...But really????
The Verizon ad is 4 ads about 10 minutes each; so 40+/- minutes long to save 45 minutes. I just find that insulting.

There's a 2nd set of Verizon ads that are 2-3 minutes each, but they just keep playing ad after ad, I couldn't last to figure out how long it ran.

I'm all for watching reasonable ads, 1-2 minutes long, but come on BP. These types of things make DO frustrating to play. I won't get into the ads you watch that you don't get credit for.

Why would you move this from the general issue section and then delete the poll?
After 2 months, 200 hours, $50...I'm done. Thanks for some fun DO but frankly like your ads, you're not worth it.

That's the game and it has been mentioned over and over, but it is what it is and if you like it then it will bring you great satisfaction! I do.

 

Adblock is not the answer when the player is trying to save time off the transfer time. Its really not the answer for the ad issues DO has at all. I am trying to find a pic block for your forum profile picture.

Some of the ads are really long the OP's issue is that all that is saved is 5 min. Some are long, some are offensive, and some are for things that are expired.

-2010!!, I had to disable Adblock just to get the ads to load. So I love Adblock, but it's not the answer. Having BP present reasonable ads that work is the answer. But from past experience with BP, I'm just ****ing in the wind.

They're not obliged to. If you want ads gone, then use AdBlock and AdBlock plus. It works fine for myself and others, and if it's not doing the same for you then you should make sure you have the latest version.

 

The OP is referring to the ads to transfer cargo for 45 minutes less.

 

Yellowsubmarine is right, I'm referring to the cargo transfer ads that you choose to click on. Just tonight I had 30 minutes left on a transfer so I clicked on an ad to save 45 min. It brought up a 1:23 state farm ad. 1:23 is reasonable. After the 4th ad each ~1:30 each I closed it. This time it gave me the 45 min credit... sometimes not. I realize BP is not obliged to do anything, but I'm not obliged to watch ads that make me feel like I'm being abused either.

Oh... I thought I was the only one who felt that way. Don't get me wrong if you like DO, great. In my opinion, I've played other on line games and personally don't see it. If you spent 7 gagillion hours and $5000 cash to get to UFE, with 10 drones and a maxed pet, great you can go and crush people. If you're level 1 to 20, you're the one getting crushed, that's not a game, that's abuse. I get enough abuse at work, I want to have fun when I play a game. Just saying.

Yeah...that is true for long long ads...that is annoying. If you skip an ad due to a crash on your browser you can't continue Glad your issue was resolved.
