[SC] Aegis Specialist

the description for Aegis Specialist says this:

Act now: here's a package for pilots who prefer supporting roles as well as PvP! How do you prefer your Aegis - with more rockets and laser batteries, or with a menacing lit-up look and extra damage across the board?
Contains:
- Veteran Aegis design
- Elite Aegis design

anyone have this? does it have more rockets and laser batteries than a normal elite Aegis? or is it decoration only?

 

The veteran used to be able to hold more laser / rockets ammo than a regular Aegis could but since the ammo cap was removed this is pointless so was removed. The Veteran and Elite have the exact same number of laser slots / rocket launcher slots as a regular Aegis does if that's what you were wondering.

Veteran gives 5% extra EP and Honour.
Elite gives 5% extra damage and alters the length and cooldowns of its abilities.

 

so basically, since I already have both of those designs, the specialist would be cosmetic only? sigh

 

As you have both already it would be pointless trying to buy the specialist pack as you are only allowed one of each design, the specialist is in fact a product name for the savings pack that contains both Veteran and elite designs there is no actual specialist design.

 

As @USS-Aries said above, the Specialist is only the name of the pack that contains both Aegis designs (it is not a new design for Aegis). If you buy that pack, you will not get any benefit out of it because you already own both the designs

EDIT: Edited my post because it sounded like I am telling the OP to not buy the pack, which was totally the opposite what I wanted to say.
