[SC] Alien hunter vs electro optics

i don't pvp very much and I play free. I mainly get my log disks through auction so I don't have to spend uri. Since I pve I'm not sure if i should go alien hunter or electro optics. I don't like the 2 points you have to put into honor for alien hunter.

 

If you are mainly into PVE, then Alien Hunter is a must, since you will hit harder with it. On the other hand, I understand your resistance to the 2 points in honor. This is the only item that "requires" you have points on another row. Unless you are going for rank, those points are best used elsewhere.

 

Do must players end up going with the honor?

 

Anyone working on rank will get the honor, will no doubt have this but to push it on those just trying to get through pve missions is really harsh.

 

I"m building up from fe to ufe and I need to kill npcs to get uri since I don't spend for uri. That really sux.

 

I'd get alien hunter so you could do aliens faster and get more uri/ep/creds.

Hmmm, well electro optics will increase the hit chance by 25% with 5/5 pp whereas 5/5 alien hunter will give 12% extra damage(need to verify)

So alien hunter will increase every single hit by a percentage whereas electro optics will only make a difference every few hits, if not more.
