[SC] Assembly update

Not sure what ya'll were thinking. I logged in to a stellar low of 7 fps when I regularly run 61 fps. I can only assume this is due to the fancy new update. Btw.. I killed over 40 of the npcs listed in the FAQ for resources, didn't receive 1 single piece of anything in the cargos. If this is the drop rate, thanks but no thanks. If you cannot fix the lag issues due to this update, it will be the end of my time with DO. I don't play at 7 fps. Heck I won't play at anything less than the 61 fps I had until yesterday. Also, how dumb is it that you have NPCs that drop cargo in maps that low level players can't even visit? Seriously... Bk for one resource and you have to be lvl 11? Way to go for the new players.... >.<

 

I dont know where these resources register... is it only in the new tab on the map?

 

yes having same problems in gb1 ,,every time you shoot a bk game just freezes and lags that bad your ship just gliches out .game is unplayable

 

If you didn't checked the Facebook page before complaining about 7FPS, you should next time:



BigPoint, or DO team can't do anything against DDoS attacks. It is really hard to mitigate them.. So, instead of trolling here and 'giving up the game', try to understand that DDoS are preety hard attacks and it takes some time for things to settle down.

So, bare with the team and let them do the work.

You can find the resources in the equipment. Go in the hangar, and increase the equipment view so you can view all rocket ammo and stuff. There you will find the resources.

Yes, you can see them, but you need to browse through recipes. So far, I think there is no other way to see them on the Assembly feature in the client.

 

If you really want to see how much you have easily go to Inventory inside the Hangar and select Raw Materials and this shows all the materials on the ship Old and NEW. If you sell the cargo before looking you will see Xenomit and the New Ores collected only.

Looking in my Crystal Ball NOPE nothing there sorry maybe when the Event is over.

 

Im having no such problem there many reason for the low fps major reasons I noticed the most was the browser one was better then the other so randomize and see which one helps. I do have a suggestion why not make each npc drop at least 5 of everything to speed things up been farming sibelonite for 2hours and only 200 thats low and only bc I do dmg now I see newbies struggling so that's sad probably making like 15 an hour and then the event mission are a joke.

 

As these say 2 of the 3 items it is making it easy for all to do, except the one requiring you to be level 11+ (SK BK UBK) but others seem to be lower map complete-able.

 

Same as always problem, hard hitting players know where most lower lvl players are going to be and it becomes easy pickings and those players will not be able to collect.

Ok so if there is only a chance of getting a drop, can you at least make it so that we get a drop, not that no cargo at all is dropped by npcs?

 

go after the harder ones they drop stuff more often stop going after the one shot ones.

 

The Assembly Event is interesting but the lag is so bad that it makes it unenjoyable.
Im all for earning items and like the idea and may enjoy doing it once/if they fix the lag.

To the deaf ears that this will fall upon, I welcome the addition of the assembly crafting system.

However, the drop rate of new resources from npcs is at best limited. Twinned with this current outrageous lag, I find it hard to contemplate that anyone outside of two weeks of continuous hour upon hour of game play will actually get anything from the crafting system. People have jobs, go to university, college etc, which doesn't allow players to make the most of the crafting system. In particular, the lower level players and non-UFE's that have the most to gain from this new system.

I am totally aware that I will be unable to achieve anything in this two weeks and have therefore already lost interest in the crafting system.

I do hope that the future "recipes" will not have a timed aspect to them as this alienates many players. Equally, it should be that the drop rate of new resources from npcs, especially bosses and ubers is in line with the current x4 and x8 reward system.
