[SC] best config for ??? map?

So i got there two times spaming jump cpu 1 for two weeks and both times got 3 protegits. so 6 total. What ship and configs are more fficient for ??? map?! Takes ages to get there and suck not to get mission even close to be done. Thanks!

 

i believe hammerclaw is your best shot
use techs to heal and make all aliens in map flee, then fly around and pick them off. I don't know, but i saw a video of some dude doing it that way

 

Best thing to do is as soon as you enter the map run to the edge and work your way to a corner, i used solace with drill but i entered the map with heart and full speed config to run to the edge and stop and sab and x4 any following protegit's and sit there and keep killing them eventually you will be able to have a break while your ship repairs and just stay in the corner and they will come few at a time.

 

is it better to kill them or have them run away? because if you kill them they will respawn right? and if you have them all run away, then you can go around the map and pop them all in a row

 

Don't know what you mean by run away? They don't run as far as i know and if you jump right to the center of the map good luck having them run away as you will have like 20 or more after you.

 

by run away i meant get them to low health they will try to flee like any other kind of alien. and yeah if you are in the middle you might have a bit of bad luck, for that i don't have any tips that will guarantee safety

trust me, they do. Anyone that can please confirm this? because else this is just my word against his.

 

I already finished the mission and i am telling you that you can sit in the corner and they come in groups and they don't run, or maybe when they changed the rewards to diminished for that map they changed the way the prot's act that is another possibility as i haven't been there for a while.
