[SC] Best ship for helping fellow players and clan?

I started to play this game back in 2008, and like most enjoyed the hunting aspect of this game. Yet, because of the outside extras that were used as well as bugs that were exploited I left the game around 2012.

Now I have decided to return.

However, I will not focus on the hunting aspects of this game as the cost in my opinion vs the reward is too much. Equally, there is so much equipment that you can use I need to grow an extra pair of hands to counter all of the new attack techniques. Therefore, I am going to focus on helping clan as well as other players. Because of this, I want to ask the following: What is the best ship to use in order to kill npcs, while at the same time offering support to clan members? I specifically want to focus on the "why and how is it better". -> If there is already a description please send me the link.

I have read a little around the aegis and citadel, and I would like you to advise me in what ways these ships can benefit the players around me. If possible, perhaps some scenarios? Morever, how are they better than the Goli? Equally, what set up would I need in order to help clan members?

Good question though. I will try to explain as better as I can.

First, the best ships to go in group are Aegis/Citadel. Why?

Let's start with Aegis. 5 less lasers than Goliath, but more HP and 3 skills that heal HP/shield to your party members + yourself at the same time. That's why this ship is so good for hunting NPC/group hunting.
About Aegis equipment, you should go standard configurations as a Goliath. One config shields on ship, lasers on drones (damage config). The other goes speed on ship, shields on drones (escape config).

On the other hand, Citadel is the ultimate tank. Usually, if you choose Citadel, make sure you have a lot of shields. Basically, when in group with other players, you don't need damage as a Citadel. I would suggest going 2 tank configurations (meaning as much shield generators on drones and ship as you can, giving you as much shield as possible). Citadel abilities will draw all fire to him self, and Aegis will have to heal only Citadel, while others will be barely touched.

Best way to help a clan i think is putting credits in the clan all my clan members have credit rights since DO regulate the amount of credits one can take

My way of helping my clan is putting in creds in the clan with over 6 billion creds i dump over 300 mil a day also i only take level 1-15 in clan and decline any apps over lvl 15 (i think if you are higher and dont have all LF3, B02,Speed gens, Iris) then you are lazy and no amount of help will work for a lazy person
so i would say use the most powerful ship to make as much credits as possible
