  1. All this Talk of Hacks and Bots the only thing is bots that do no damage only pick up rocks or boxes.... Now Hacks DO knows that there is no ways to hack the script on this game tho, some that are UFE that Hit way harder than regular Ufes are using Mod codes, they have control of the the admin panel and there is nothing DO can do to stop these guys. I dont know why they just dont tell you all the truth already

    Bots do indeed do damage, damage to the game economy in lost revenue. As for hackers there is no system that is 100% from hacks. In reference to some UFE's appearing to hit much harder than others this is mainly down to incorrectly understanding how damage is shown in the game and how the variables of configs, boosters and drone formations with good skills can influence how much damage can be dealt.
     
  3. You forgot to mention the Bio effect. As some UFE have chosen to get the equipment and not the Bio they can be weaker than what they should be, and a defensive setup bio can appear weaker but yet last longer in the fight, and then there are those who choose to reap the rewards of BOOTY and have maxed the salvage bio for maximum benefit from collecting boxes and cargo. Compared to the Offensive stature of a true UFE who can lay a DD mine and pop a good FE ship with just one mine.
     
  4. To a point say two UFEs that are Equal to each other same gear and all level 16, on all gear, and boosters, Ore, config, Max damage is all lasers on ship and drones with drill formation.... Say I fought a ship, mine hit 175 to 350 on surgeon fully boosted vs Enforcer hit 175 to closer to 500k with strong shields and HP Ps: 50 pp in battle bio, oh before you add more to that no CBS around and no one else around to boost him. Ah, lets not forget the targeting CPU and all the 5 pp in Elector optics and the 5 pp in rocket fusion bounty hunters and evasive maneuvers... ah lets add no mines were dropped and no lance formation but you want to add pet most that is going to hit is like 20 to maybe 30 kish and 75k if popped, lets just add a little more to this say the person I fought hit the same with all configs hmmm I think it would be a shame to find out that the ship I fought had lesser level and gear than mine. But we all know that there is ships out there with less bio LF 4 lasers that have supper shields, HP, and speed but yet hit way harder than UFEs when I say UFE that means level 16 everything and full LF 4s and Bo2 shields.... But yet these guys do major damage on both configs, have speed and shields and HP that goes down slow.... On some I have noticed that the shields go down first then the HP even if you use moth the shields will take the damage first before the HP does, that is not normal. Here i am using moth on player and the shields are going down before the HP Hmmmm! thats a bit strange ain't it lets just say I know what the formations should do but when I am using a certain formation and it is not doing what it is suppose to that is questionable Now I am now sure you are going to bring up lab maybe he is using energy leech hmmm thats why his HP dont go down but if that was the case you should be able to see the leech bubble around the shields on the enemy ship... Bottom line is some these guys have access to admin panels not cheats but admin panels thats why they dont catch dem... and further more I have seen pets hitting damage of over 100k

With just BO-2 shields the damage distribution is 80 % Shields and 20 % HP add Bubble shields and it changes to 92 % Shield and 8 % Hull so yes the shields fail first and depending on how they are set up, a million shields to 100 K HP might go down equally but anything else is going to have the Shields gone well before the HP is even touched and then add the NanoHull from Galaxy Gates and increase the hull even further as the Nano takes all the hits before the Hull even gets touched.

    In my example a person being hit at 100K for 11 shots he has lost his shields completely and died as the 11 shot would send 20K to the Hull eliminating the imbalance in Shield and Hull.

    10 shots at 100K dmg equals 920K shield loss and 80K Hull 11th shot applied 80K to remaining Shields and 20K to remaining Hull equals POOF you died.

    Now the 100K Hull would be a Pirahna (64K) with some Bio added, even a home map Leonov has 160K base without any boost at all. And yes a ship fully boosted and properly Bio'ed can have a million shields and over 316K HP (this is a Goli with full Hull Bio only). So in every possible scenario the shields will fail before the Hull is gone.
     

  6. lol its not hacking the script or mod code (what ever the hell they are) a lot of problem are down to bugs that people abuse and u don't hear much about it cos only so many people don't pas the bugs around unless they get a bug in return but when u look around u can find what ya looking for like all the sep bugs , there was one bug that was going round cant remember how it went but u could set up 1 config to max dmg then do something reset that config and then tank that config with b02s and u could still keep the dmg but once u popped u had 2 do it all again there is people that find time just to look for bugs and some people that do them without even knowing what they have done there was a pet glitch going round pets doing dmg of 150k i did post it but got removed
     
  7. Yea it seems that any time a glitch/bug that can be exploited is talked about in TS and not in chat or forums as these get deleted from forums and sent out of chat to Dev Team to try to recreate, and warned to stop the conversation or suffer the consequences of the Ban Hammer.

    Hello,

    Rather than accusing the mod team, I'd appreciate if you sent any proof to support so it can be looked into. Any actions we take we are accountable for & the higher ups can see that. If anyone was boosting a ship with the tools we have as members of the mod team, it would not be taken lightly.

    As for bugs, not everything is left for the public view because we would want to minimize the know-how/means for anyone who would abuse it (unfortunate as it may be) with the information to do so. Some of these can be more dire than others in how sensitive they are and how they affect the community. We need information though to get bugs tested and reported, so that if there is an issue it can be fixed. With no info, we have nothing to work with.

  11. test server is there for testing out updates and to fix bugs and report them to be fixed when they go live and a bug is missed what do you do moan about it or report it so it dose not effect your game play ... when one bug is fixed it could effect something els and its not solids job she is a mod who deals with chat problem she dose not work for bigpoint of control the script but if u find a bug and tell a mod how it happens as much info as you could they can get it sent up to be looked at and as for talking about them its called singling someone out where they can get bullied which bigpoint don't stand for

    on another note u play on a computer are u using windows 10 or still windows 3.1 you get a pop up when you have an error asking if you want to send a error report bigpoint is the same always updating what do you think bots/programs do bigpoint will find ways to stop them but they will always pop back up with another work around there bot scripts its called moving forward all games are the same all systems are the same

    We moderate the chat and forums, we don't decide who cheats or who doesn't. DarkOrbit has their detection system, imperfect or no, that is what decides who is playing unfairly with illegal programs.

    As for bugs, if don't know what the issue is or anything about it, we cannot do anything. This is why we need your help with them.

    In chat & forums accusations are not permitted, and that is additionally stated in the first post of this thread. Whether or not someone "is" cheating, calling them a "cheater" or another synonomous word is still against the rules. For starters, not everyone accused is actually cheating nor do they deserve to be flamed in that way. Secondly, it inflames the chat/forums and only causes issues.

    Simply flaming or accusing the mod team of aiding and abetting the cheaters or those abusing bugs doesn't help us to get the issues resolved. Continued accusations in this thread will be dealt with accordingly.

  13. You are yelling at the wrong people. The Mods are NOT EMPLOYEES, they are people who enjoy the game and have decided to become part of the team to assist in the resolution of problems brought up in the forums or maintain rules in Chat and Forum. They are not PAID for what they do they DON'T have any control over anything except to forward INFORMATION to the people they have contact information to send issues up for further attempts to recreate what is being reported. IF the issue can not be reproduced there really is nothing that can be done to correct it until it is seen by the Dev Team so they know exactly where the issue is and what may be causing it.

    I may get mad at the Dev Team as the issues are reported and still sent live to the servers and might ask the Mods to send something up the chain but NEVER blame the MOD's for issues in the game, now the forums is another issue but I still put more blame on the Company than the Mod's.

    I'm not really a tech guy but it would seem to me if DO would move to a user download platform (download the basic game info to each personal computer) it may help with this problem among other problems such as lag. Like I said, I'm no computer guy so if I'm incorrect in my thought process please feel free to correct me.

    I would like to know how a ship can hit 209k damage and have 2 mill shields,

    Maxed out pilot points for PvP, full LF4, full upgrades, full boosters, x4 ammo and uber rockets will influence the damage a player can deal and shield strengh. The damage you take is shown as total damage per second and the damage you deal is split up into rocket damage, laser damage, hellstorm damage and each time you miss and tends to confuse players about damage done and damage taken.

    Seems as though there has been a lack of action towards bots on DO's part. Perhaps there is something big they are working on behind the scenes. Either way, on my global server there are a lot of botters now back. If you would like to run your script programmes 24/7 they will find them. If this can't be done I'm happy to supply a list of player names and clans. If you don't want the names then how about the website that is selling these cheats? Just google and there you go!

  19. this problem has again increased on gb1 i asked 3 years ago about dark orbit bring out there own version of some of these cheats and putting them in pilot ponts or something after all its never been updated since it came out when you have a pvp with someone who is using an auto lock it makes the game pointless its obvious some cowardly players cant play any other way and dark orbit dosent seem to be able to keep them out of the game so gives us the chance legitamately to combat them also the sites that sell these will eventually run out of customers so its win win for darl orbit once they have the pilot points to have this ability they wont be funding the rogue sites who i,am sure dont do it out of the kindness of there hearts wake up dark orbit you are losing the battle again
     
  20. The best way is just drop mines - what kind of mines you ask - it is pretty obvious if they are cloaked ;) Let the opposing Co. deal with them and as a bonus you will get achievement rewards...as if that is worthy, but regardless :)
