[SC] Calendar info

I'm interested to know how often the forum calendar is updated and also how much in advance those updates are? I ask this here because of a discussion started on another forum in which my counterpart stated that and i quote : "Information published in English forum calendar are taken from the forum calendar schedule that appears on the home page of any game account and all of the advertisements appearing on events on the home page of any account on the day they occur and not in advance" ( my quote might be slightly off due to translation ) . Yet early this month i was checking the calendar and there was info posted in advance, info like Kronos day , upgrade hour and other which are not posted on the home page. I would like an answer from an admin please .

We update the calendar with the information available to us from the backpage. Sometimes due to varied timezones across the servers we can get info a little "early" (for example, GB servers head of US), but it's all information available to everyone really.

I believe we're looking at retiring the events thread here in Speaker's Corner in favor of the calendar going ahead into 2016. In either case we try to update the events as much as we can, although it does mean we don't always have everything added. Sometimes there's nothing more we can update until time passes and it appears on the backpage, and sometimes updating events gets a little lost in the shuffle. We do try to get as much as we can though.
