    Can this go? I've missed more than a few killer steals in auction just because I have to waste 20 seconds filling out a CAPTCHA box.

    Not everyone is seeing this. I myself have seen it twice in a million bids and many are "Skype" bids, being placed in the last few seconds of the Auction. The LAG is what kills me, I have had to increase the time for my bids from 10 seconds to 20 to make sure I get the bid in on that auction instead of the next one.
