[SC] Cooldown Booster (CD-BO2)

Hello,
This is the information provided when I go to purchase CD-BO2 in shop

30% quicker cooldown times for all ship and design skills. Booster is active for 10 hours of game time after purchase.
Booster is active for 10 hours from the time of purchase. It has a 50% maximum boost level.

I would like like to know what is the meaning of " IT HAS A 50% MAXIMUM BOOST LEVEL "

 

Most of the B02 boosters are shared, meaning you'll receive part of the bonus if you're near someone with one of those boosters. Obviously, it would be very over-powered if you could just have 20 people with Damage Boosters (giving 100% extra on top of your already 20%) so it's capped at 50%.

Cooldown Boosters aren't shared, though, but I'm certain that it's just a copy/paste onto that booster.

(Also, CD-B01 and CD-B02 add up to 50%.)

 

Correct they are not shared and generally only bought for aegis or lightning.

 

If darkorbit just copy pasted it then it is a technical problem, Mods move this thread to technical problems.

 

I don't understand why this is a technical problem then, the descriptions fits what the boosters do, you can have a max of 50% boost on your 'cooldown boosters'

 

I'm using it, there is no 50% max boost. It is giving me what is mentioned in the first para 30% quicker cool down.

 

if you have the MHH cooldown booster you will only get 30%, if you have the normal booster too ( which give a 20% boost) then you will get 50%, or if you have the 30% booster and have 4 friends close to you with the same MHH booster then you will get 50%, but if you have both boosters and your 4 friends next to you their MHH boosters will not add to yours as you will be maxed out at 50%

the cooldown booster that appears with shared boosters after mhh doesnt give shared cooldown to ppl close by, it only sticks to ur ship, to get 50% u need that booster and the 20% that is in shop permanently
