[SC] Crafting "new" LF-4 lasers using "Unstable" LF-4

Hello,

I know the next event will be about upgrading LF-4 lasers into Magmadrill or Paritydrill or Hyperplasmoid.

According to my knowledge a LF-4 is required to craft "new" lasers.

My question is:
Can i craft new lasers (Magmadrill or Paritydrill or Hyperplasmoid) using Unstable LF-4? Or i need only standard LF-4 in order to craft the new upcoming lasers?

I would appreciate if i get response from a game dev.

I'm not either of those type of people you mentioned that you want a response from(though I'd personally recommend not literally asking for a response cause if they did lots of people would start asking for a response) but... The chance of that happening is slim to none in my opinion, people with LF-4's would complain if they changed it near the end of this event(like say they didn't bother to do the gate much) and from what I know I doubt they would seriously consider doing it since it is much easier to get the Unstable LF-4's so the having LF-4's as one of the requirements to get the new lasers would now be no challenge at all.

The only way I would of seen more chance of this happening is if they actually made it much more practical for people with not much more than just LF-3's to be able to get those Unstable LF-4's. Cause even with them reducing the amount of proxium you need now for them to 25(second tier craft) it would take people who just have mostly LF-3's forever to get them still. Not to mention those types of players wont have much x2/x3/x4 ammo so yeah forever... Basically I doubt still not many people at all will go for those unstable LF-4's, or at least the people who the lasers were intended for... Seriously did BP expect such players to grind the Fissure gate to hell and back?
(that may not sound right but basically saying if BP really wanted it to be that easy/not as hard to get things they would do stuff like I just described)


Unless you meant or also asked do you need both U-LF4's and LF4's to craft the new lasers lol, in which case I very much hope not.(could see them after the event making it hard to get them(U-LF4) even if you're UFE...)
