[SC] Dark Orbit Emails

I just have to laugh. I get the emails about the events. Normally they come after the events have started. Good thing I am not waiting for them to decide to play.

The funny ones are the emails that ask why I stopped playing the game. I play 2 or 3 hours daily, go to work and come home to "Why did you stop playing DarkOrbit?"

Sorry I had to go to work. I would love to work out a few of my missions in the afternoon but life kicked in. I want to send it to some of the hang out spots I used to have so they can send it to people that stopped hanging out there. Why did you stop coming to our place? LOL

Anyways, with all the serious gripes floating around the forums, I thought I would drop this in to lighten the mood.

 

I play and a couple of hours every day But have also received the mail asking why I stopped playing Where is it just typical Dark Orbit not to control things LoL...

 

You must be lucky PSK~SUNDANCE to receive emails from DO. I don't get emails from DO even though I am signed up to receive them. ... but on a lighter side I do like the music library I play in the background when I hit the maps . I like an old Tom Petty rendering of " I Wont Back Down"

He he i get 1 mail ca 2 yers after i stop playing but visit sometimes and DO often ask Ho are you ,just the same as usual god night

@PSK~SUNDANCE @Gudinden That happens most likely due to that you have visited another server which creates new account inside your login data. Then when this account goes inactive state you will get that mail even if you play under the same login data on other server. I have also experienced this as i have multiple accounts under one login.

 

They need to give us an option to kill off servers we don't (want to) play.

 

You used to list all of your accounts in your signature but you have said in the forums you only log into your main and the for fun (Credit) account, so they could be sending you the request to return to the servers you are not playing anymore.

I only play 2 servers but I also have 7 miss clicked servers that have been started. BUT I also have not received any emails about them but I did receive a survey asking me how I found D O in German after I did my last miss click creation of an account.

I play both accounts daily; both are thriving but they are separate. I still log into the forums under the other account which has multiple servers listed though I only get on west. When they send the emails, they specify what account they are referring to by name which is why I started this thread under this name. But you and others do have a valid point about the other servers that I don't play. They stuck me in East 3 when I first started this account; don't ask me why. I logged into it a few weeks ago just to see if what is there got lost, and that could have triggered the email about why I stopped playing. They really should change one of the "why" options to "I play on a different server." They do have the one about "I play on a different account." Long list West...
