[SC] DAY to NIGHT

Hi All,

I live and play in the USA Eastern Standard Time Zone. I like to know if I could change 1 of my server to a Night Time Server. Like somewhere on the other side of the planet. Both Servers are in the same time. I wish that I had some brains when I started my second server (because my first server was down for over a week, and I couldn't log in). I wanted to play so I started a new server, but it was in the same group of players. My two servers are USA (East Coast) main server, and USA 2 (East Coast) secondary server. So if I play either server, I'm still playing at the same time. Missing all the night stuff.

When it is morning here (which I play most of my time), I want to play where it is night. I would like to have a server that will be night time so I can play with the different events DO has.

I miss so much that goes on here because I'm a AM player.

Please let me know if I can do this and if there is any cost involve too.

Does DO have a server in Australia it is 14 hours different?

The best you could do is to start another account on say a German or Asia server, but currently moving an account to a new server is not possible. I know there has been some threads asking for the ability to be able to choose what server you get put with with the merges but then this has never had any input from the DEV TEAM so we have never been given any information if this is a possibility or not. You might try asking OP32 on the "Discord" channel.

Never been on "Discord" because my time is game or here. Having another place to visit spending what time for the game. I'll think on it because I would like to move my newer sever to a new location. I don't want to start over with a third. It is enough trying to build up #2 server, as trying gain levels on #1 server too. It is too much for me sometimes.

They kicked this idea around on Discord once as a solution, it just never went anywhere afterwards. That was in the beginning when they first started talking about merging servers. I think the worry was people jumping servers like they change their socks. Wait, not all people change their socks. At any rate, once they actually started the work for merging, this and the other two ideas, don't ask me what they were, went to the way side. If you just speak English, either a Global Europe, or Great Britain server would be a good option.

Thanks for the information. That is what information I'm getting. To be where I want to be, I have to start over on a new server. It is hard enough to play 2 servers, and I need a 3rd server. I have spent too much time and money in the second server just to get where I'm am. I'm not even close to my first server levels or equipment.

I can't afford a new server and start over.

All I wanted to do was play at night with all the events but in my day time hours. I'm a morning person and play when my wife is asleep. I get up early because that's what I do. Twenty years in the Navy will do that, and I like to be an early bird because I can work outside when it is cool too.

I would start an account and not spend any money on it just so I could enjoy the events you want to. In just a couple hours a day you could have an FE ship just by doing quests and building the Skylab. The only money you might want to spend is the $5.99 for Premium.

I have a total of 5 active accounts and depending on what my objective is will play on the accounts accordingly. My first account was in MMO and instead of loosing 50% honor, I created my second account in VRU, then I was requested to create a clan for an outside gaming group to have a place to come and join the Orbit (which never really happened) but I was having too much fun in the current clan. These 3 accounts are on the same server but are never on at the same time so are not in violation of any rules. Then came another opportunity to be a mentor in beginners clan and I created another MMO account and then I decided I wanted to try another server and created my EIC account. My baby (was EIC USA East 2, now MMO USA West) accounts are both level 17 (I need to update the signature) my first account is level 20 and the other 2 are level 19, my first VRU account is the closest to UFE as he received the complete Zeus drone while the others are still working on collecting the parts, but since they all have a second Apis ready to be built should receive the parts much faster since the Apis drops will become Zeus now. BUT since I do not spend a ton of money on the game I am lacking LF-4's and upgrades on the ones we are receiving from the login bonus, all 5 accounts have a level 20 Skylab and have 39/40 ships available to equip (including all of the Credit ships) so I have plenty of storage spaces for unwanted Drone/PET designs.

While this account is building you should find it fairly easy to level up as most of the people will be doing the event or playing Prime Time CBS defense/attacks. IF you play only one hour a day doing only quests you could be at least level 12 (access to all company maps) which is when I started doing UPPER map quests, within a month. The key to getting the Skylab fully upgraded is to follow the steps below and to have it upgrading all of the time (as materials are available).

I have found it builds better if;

1. Basic is one level above everything
2. Storage and Solar are right behind Basic
3. Collectors are right behind #2
4. when collectors are level 3 start Prometid and Duranium (together)
5. now when everything is up build #1 and #2 as soon as resources are available Start Promerium and Xeno
6. Watch the time for completion and start the Duranium and Prometid so it completes at the same time as Promerium
7. again look at the time left for refineries (all should be the same) and start the Collectors building (assuming you have enough ore to do so, I always did)
8. The next cycle you can start the Seprom after #2 this refinery should either be building or off to save the Promerium
9. REPEAT #1, #2, #8, #5, #4, and #3, until 1, 2, & 3, are level 20.
10. now finish the refineries as fast as you can 4, 6, 8.

IF you have been efficient (using an alarm or watching time) you will have most of the Skylab fully upgraded in 30 days. You will find that there is very little, if any, collected ores in storage as they are consumed as fast as they are collected buy the Duranium and Prometid refineries, which is the reason to have everything upgrade on the above schedule. I seem to recall the ores collected while the refineries were doing their final builds were enough to finish the other refinery upgrades. If it was not I either turned the Duranium and Prometid off or bought the 12 (Uridium = 1800) Robots for each of the Collectors. The final Seprom is a very long build so you may want to allow for enough for shields upgrading (calculate minutes played for the time it is going to be down divide by 10 and this is the stockpile needed) or just wait till the storage is full and make the final upgrade (15 days seems to be a length I remember).

As this account advances you might decide to purchase Uridium on a Helix hour (4x the amount) just so you can upgrade or get PET items, just remember you may have to pay foreign exchange fees to the Bank card company, as you are now on a foreign server.

IF playing the evening events means so much to you then creating this account should be the highest priority, before the merges happen and hopefully you find an empty server to join where you can play with little annoyance from the Bullies. Once this account is strong enough to participate in the events, and survive, then you could just do the transfers, like you are on the other current account, and only play the newest account when there is an event you are interested in playing.

But this is my suggestion to resolve the issue as I believe the USA servers will only see merges within the current server selection groups.

What a plan and you have really thought it out.

I was thinking of starting a third account and do nothing. Because no one can touch you as long as you are low level. I was thinking playing "Capture the Beacon" at the free agent. Capture the Beacon and come home. It would be a winner combination that can't be beat.
