[SC] Earning LF-4

Hello Everyone

I was wondering that you can share your experience of collecting LF-4s, like what's the best way to collect them, Is it by doing Epsilon gate more and more and more till you get the amount u need? or via buying large amount of Booty keys (e.g. 2400 keys) and collect on the LF4-Day?

what is faster and more efficient?
and roughly could you estimate how much uri does it take to open Epsilon? and I guess that it's not guaranteed to receive LF-4 after it's done (Except for your first attempt), and what's your probabilities if u collect them all through gates?

Collecting them from G G's is the smarter way of getting them. I have found it does not matter how many keys you have if you are not LUCKY you will not get the LF-4's from the Booty Key System. Most people recommend doing Zeta or Kappa for the Herc's and Havoc's (with chance of LF-4 from Kappa and keys from Zeta), but you can read all through the forums where people want LF-4 day renamed as LF-3 day as they get so many of the lesser then the item they really want. Most gates are going to be 1200-1600 spins (Lambda and Hades the exception) but it also depends on how you spin for them? Single spin is best but the slowest of all, 100 spin for first quarter of parts is fastest but any multipliers gained are usually used and given ammo instead, using 5 spins give better chance of getting the gate parts when using the multiplier immediately (but not always).

After this weekend, with everyone trying to get the Surgeon design from Epsilon, it seems the LF-4 is as illusive from this gate as the 200K design credit is from Kuiper Gate. I don't think there is any actual BETTER way to get the LF-4 than any other, they all rely on CHANCE and chance equals LUCK, and is why so many of the Veterans have left the game as they saw their LUCK was not working with D O no matter how much they spent on the game.

 

When is lf4 event, I never find some lf4 and what I heard, the other players have similar experience. I think the best way how u can receive lf 4 are gates. I recommend to build Kappa

 

Is Epsilon good too for earning LF-4s?

So not even building gates will help? Is it all the same?

 

I can only go off of what I read and the most recent posts indicate that the messing with the G G Weekend Bonuses has messed up the Chance rewards. But then the Chance has always been a matter of LUCK more than Chance as some players report they get the reward almost every gate they do and others say they have never gotten the reward, even though they have done half dozen or better of same gates.

Best suggestion is when the "%" is on the G G M Build Zeta, Kappa, and Epsilon (you can have 2 each ready 1 open and one ready to open) and then run them and see what you get. Take the Booty keys from the gates and then collect the GOLD booty chests (yes these are not out all the time but do open with the Green keys) and see how that works for you.

 

1. are u full havoc? i would advice u to make zetas... zeta doesn't give LF4 but, it gives a lot of booty keys, with two or three zetas done, u can try luck collecting booties and, i would say u will get at least one; and at the same time u could receive havocs.
2. are u already full havoc? u don't want to do zetas? then i would advice u to buy booty keys and use them in LF4 Day and Zeus Day, those days i had receive most of my LF4's (34 more or less) but take into account that all is about luck and u couldn't receive anything, but if u get just one or two believe me you'are lucky.
3. other option is doing kappa, i would say u barely will get hercules, most of time u will get LF4 or Nothing and don't forget the new GG weekends

nope, only 1 havoc design. basically am a FE who wants to be UFE

From my experience,which doesn't necessarily applies to you, the highest chance to get a special reward from any of the galaxy gates is given in Epsilon. From13 Epsilons i managed 6 LF4s. As another alternative are the booty boxes on Helix day or APIS/Zeus day if you still need those parts.
In MY CASE i managed an overall medium of about 60-65 keys for one LF4. You should consider that this average is achieved from 500 boxes up. Smaller number can be less accurate, as you may receive 2 LF4s in 2 minutes, or you can use 150 keys for only one piece.Also some of the other items you collect from boxes are useful.
You should decide what suits you best, regarding the time you are able to invest in the game. Real Money is not the best option, as it builds up more frustration if you don't get the items you hoped for after certain amount invested.

A good way to LF-4s is to spam kappa's with the loot you get from grinding and pallying. Reinvest half the rewards
back into kappa's. The other half on booty keys during sales events. Use your saved up keys on APIS/Zeus Day if
you still need them. If not just on LF-4 Day. By the time you get full Hercs you should get 12 to 17 LF-4s from gates
and another 15 to 25 from the 2500 to 3000 booties.

A few things to consider. You have to be patient and diligent at the same time and when you get frustrated you have to
find a way to push through it. Be prepared to do many gates, put a bit more time in the maps and know you wont get to
UFE overnight. Also it could be advantageous to hold off on building your APIS until you have the amount of LF-4s or ship
designs you want. Otherwise you'll have to build it twice

BTW Premium rebate and the occasional doubler goes a long way Be smart with you uri, resources and how you play
the game. Remember if it not happening where you are find a place where it is

 

Here's my plan, I've full boxing bio, I intend to use both methods that is collecting 1.7 mil uri from game and buy around 2.4K (prem+sale+rebate)booties at once, after I do that am gonna wait for the LF-4 days to collect them meanwhile I'll spam epsilon I guess if it was good for me in the first 3 or 4 attempts I'll continue, if not all try kappa

Then I'll see how many LF-4s have I made it out from booties and gates

I already have APIS and ZEUS

Agreed that's why I've full BIO and full PET stuff and sometimes I use box doubler to speed things up

i would say my overall average would be about 1 lf4 to 100 keys thats trying to be realistic on both ends
now i've had 600 key dry spells but i've also got 2 in a row twice i always lf4 day
i hear horrible horror stories from some but that was not my experience full havoc and full lf4s same timing about

edit--yeah you need your zeus drone before going to lf4 day and lf4s

 

dont get ya hopes up you could spend 100k uri on spins and not get anything so people with small pocket may not get anything

 

Best way to get LF 4s Green Booty keys... and Gates that Give LF 4s. From my experience spending money on color boxes not a wise choice or any other type of event that you have to pay for it that is money that is being thrown away and your chances of getting an LF 4 are slim, I know they say it is better to buy the color keys, but not true, they can say that the moon is made of cheese just to try to sell it.... meany people have bought these keys and have had nothing but bad luck with them choice is your tho. Invest in Green keys only and wait for LF 4 event. Or just do Gates
