    [REMOVED]

Moth part starting at 02:25 of the video

Even if we allow that potentially the ship which was getting shot in the video didn't have ANY Shield Mechanics points, then in case you have all of them the outcome will still be critically bad - 32% penetration from modules, 20% from moth, 8% from skill tree (92%/8% if Shield Mechanics skill is 5/5)

total of 60% penetration which is I-N-S-A-N-E, do the developers of this game even realise how gamebreaking that new ship is? NERF IT

all opinions are welcome and i request Mods to let a discussion happen instead of closing the topic

Edit: the place where i posted it might be wrong but still moving it to the right one is preferable than deleting it

  3. Why do you think people just use suicide configs for years now.

There's no point in shields anymore, just use a suicide config with full lasers on one config and a speed tank on the other side to run away and heal.

There's also so many tools and techniques you can use to get away, kill people whilst evading and just straight up one shotting people.

I know that the ship and the stats might LOOK "broken" but in the grand scheme of things it sucks because most good fighters fight in suicides(especially nowadays) anyways so that shield penetration does nothing, add onto the fact that a regular sui goliath with proper modules can probably mop the floor with that thing.

Darkorbit is no longer a game where you fight in battles for a long time, people should start looking at it as basically a hit-and-run game or a guierilla fighting style game because all this game's PVP now is shoot, kill, EMP & cloak.

It's just going to be yet another ship that nobody uses because it's just useless outside of damage testing videos or "hunting" videos where people use like 10 minutes of decent clips from a 6 hour recording session where they make it LOOK good but in reality they spent 99% of that time getting destroyed by actual good players(most youtubers are overrated).
