[SC] Fair Events

I had to build my ship to get it where it is. Why shouldnt everyone else have to do the same? Just because somebody came along after I did doesnt mean they should be gifted everything that I worked for. Get off the welfare and be a productive member of society.

 

So when you built your ship did you have guys hitting you for 400 or 500k per volley?
Were MCC such a big issue?
Were there more bots than live players?

No-one is saying anything should be "gifted", just to create a slightly more level playing field.

When i built my first account Goli with 8 iris and LF3's was top of the heap, if you had a surgeon you were king of the maps.
Botters were few and far between so completing missions was only hindered by enemy companies, no MCC where your own company killed you like today. Established players not only helped new players they also protected their companies maps.
Things for new players are very different now, there are very few established players will go out of their way to help new players, you are more likely to be popped by one enemy and 4 of his clan mates from your own company.
A new FE player still only hits for 4K, you hit for 400K+.

It is a shame there are so many players with your attitude - You willingly contribute to the decline of the game simply by not seeing how your attitudes and selfish play style affect the game overall.

 

The biggest difference today is that the new players have more benefits than we did 10 yrs ago. Not sure what server you played that wasnt full of bots, they have been around as long as I have. They were only box bots back then, but still plenty of them around. It doesnt matter how long it took or takes to pop a noob, popping is popping whether it takes 5 secs or 20 secs. I have never encountered a player that hits for 400K, myself I only hit in the 80k range with 12 prometheus and the rest hypers and magmas. Even the hackers dont hit for 400k so try and stick to the facts instead of making stuff up to fit your sorry excuse of why its harder today.

To this day I still don't know why you guys actually think getting rid of MCCs will do anything to help the game because when you get rid of them instead of an MCC ruling the server its just going to be a VRU clan at the end of the day, which would make removing MCCs obsolete and pointless.

My clan on USA East 3 was a VRU clan ONLY that practically kicked everyone off the server, we eventually turned into a multi company clan not because of domination but because of rank and it was causing so much tension in the clan so we decided to take other ranks in the other companies so there was less feuding over who gets to the the General and colonels. Multi company clans aren't born out of domination of a server like you people think they are born but rather they are created with expansionist intents when the limits of being in one company is no longer sufficient for clan rank.

Want to get rid of MCCs? Get rid of rank. 50% honor loss is the reason why nobody is switching company and why the MCCs are still there not because they find it fun but because they want rank and don't want to lose half of it and they have less clan competition in other companies.

Perhaps the reason why the events are dominated is because of all this new overpowered bullcrap that was released and the complete domination of bots and cheats made it possible for a single clan to dominate a server in the first place, on top of the hyper-inflated ranking system that pretty much requires a clan to go multi company if they want to compete in rank.

But no its clearly the players and MCCs because people like you guys are always right and everyone else is wrong, just like with the server merge. My server, USA server is completely dead now and the only people left are cheaters which make up the majority of the players, and the legitimate players who are quitting one by one. Ironically the new server is even more dead than our old server USA East 3.

But no, the server merges were totally needed and it totally didn't just turn 4 dead USA servers into one server thats just as dead as the other servers before the merge because you guys just know everything and have a solution to everyone's problems, and whoever disagrees is wrong.

This is what happens when decisions are put into the hands of people who don't have a clue what they are doing.

I said this before and I will say it again but in a few year's time, you fools better hope they give you some good voucher codes like they did to the Battlestar Galatica players because Darkorbit's model of keeping their sponsors and ignoring players and the game and most criminally the cheats is not sustainable and it will inevitably collapse.

 

Sorry i must be wrong, from the way you post I figured you to be among the top players but if you only hit 80K [against guys who can only hit around 15k] then you obviously aren't.

If you haven't been hit for 400K+ then you aren't very active in the PVP arena. Go to your local BL map and find yourself a lvl 24+ player from another company - Pick a fight with him, if he's not hitting you for 400K+ he's not using X4. I only have 22 Promi lasers and hit 160+ in BL map with X3 and Sep. I hit 120K, 160K X4 combo in normal maps AND I die more than i win as there are many who hit a lot harder (some double what i hit) than me.

 

Thats with a suicide config.

 

On USWest we dont have anyone hitting for 400k. Several people accuse others of it but I have never seen it. I do ok solo hunting I get a lot more kills than deaths, I'm not picky about who I shoot. I just dont shoot green tags and friends, all others are fair game.

 

Wish I could move my account to US West, it must be the only server where players don't have X4, full promi lasers and Sep in BL maps.

 

anybody who plays this game and still thinks its a pvp game, live in a dream world.

Boggles my mind people are complaining about all this stupid crap when the real problems like cheats are in plain sight.
