[SC]Future of 2D Clinet...

Hi,

I'm little curious to know about what'll happen with the current 2D client after 3D comes (which almost came ). I know that there will be an option to go 2D in case players can't access 3D. But I've some questions.

Q1. Is 2D client considered to be kept for quite long time (nearly forever) ?

Q2. Will the 2D client receive regular updates and bug fixes normally and will be taken care of as it is now? Or will it receive less priority and slower updates.

Q3. Will this feature be added to the 2D client to improve the performance a little?
[Note: Only this feature and nothing else, no graphics,etc.]

Q4. Now that you will be having two clients. Would you give nearly same priority in maintaining and updating both the clients together?

Q5. Do you mind solving some of the existing bugs on current 2D client (like ore upgrading, etc.) after finally releasing 3D client ?


I'd like Developers to answer these questions as much as they can or players who have any information regarding it.

I think having two different clients would make the game more interesting. The players now will be having a choice.
Also to note that 2D will not be only used by players whose computer can't support 3D but also by some (or many) who prefer the current 2D graphics over 3D and don't wanna ruin their game player.

So I wish 2D client will be taken care of along with 3D and there shouldn't be any discrimination.

Ore upgrading has been fixed, and really don't expect them to not pamper the new 3D server, but 2D will probably still get love.
