[SC] GB1 SERVER IS DEAD

We need a server merge asap, I know this has been covered before, yet we see no merge, maps are dead! I play each and every day and I tell you GB1 is dead, only ever about 200 + players on and that's during SB/Event. Would love to see those 500 players DragoWolf is talking about ???

Server populations are a known issue and it is being discussed, they will make a post about it when they are ready.

You know you don't have to make a post with multiple colours every few words, bigger fonts or an all caps title just for it to be seen either.

Yes player numbers in GB1 have dropped but it is far from dead. There are still around 500 regular players and a few thousand players who just drop in from time to time.

 

200 is dead? oh boy, here at east 1 we count our blessings with 20 people being on doing spaceball. The availability of getting kills here is so small, everyone knows each other like a small village.

 

Because of this reason many GB1 players left the server like me...there are many GB1 players on Global Europe 1 and are still coming, because that is one of the servers now with decent population.

 

maybe darkobit should stop ripping us off with chance items ,,and drop the price of uridium its a joke .most games you only pay 10 a month to play and have everything you need to get everything els in the game ,,no pay to win at all ,,this game will crash an die very soon

I agree it would cost £1000's to get to "end game" level. I could play EVE online or WOW for much less. I sugest that DO uses more micro transactions such as the 69P items or packs of drone/pet designs. Alongside this makes the Prem/ rebate /doubler/advantage pack ect more adavatages and increase mega to x4? I understand this game will never be free to play as there id huge cost involved in running multiple servers as well as paying staff/advertising ect however the long term profitability of this game is at risk if something is not done soon, to attract and keep new players. Most people will just play the latest call of duty then drop £££ on game with ever decreasing amounts of players.

yep i also quit eve 3 years ago because of this being too much for a game after playing it for 6 years and being uber elite on my main account ,,i now play eve online and ,is at the poing for years where i can make in game money to have fun and also plex my account ,,also im in 1 of the most feared pvp corps on that game

beleave me gb1 server is also dead ,,people are just moving server trying to find some combat fun

 

GB! is really dead today. Can log in but can't physical log onto to the play area. Anybody having the same problem?

Well whatever the problem was it's now fixed. I'm working as normal.

 

I agree GB1 is so empty, did a round of whole of EIC and MMO uppers + 4-4 + 4-5 the other day, and only saw 3 ships, all AFK at port. Difficult to find much PVP nowadays... Even 5-3 is dead

I've come back for a bit just to have a bit of fun here and it has been great but most of the people I've seen are VRU lol.

 

Be patient dev team is working on it, hope they resolve the problem with population.

 

There is no quick fix to this issue, It would help if GB1 players refrain from killing noobs in lowers as this discourages them from playing the game further. I have seen this happen many times.

You will need to be patient and in the mean time try to encourage some new players to reach FE stats and keep playing.

 

Anyone know which server is the most populated?

I myself have noticed a decline in new players, which, to me own devices, if i am roaming late at night, I leave noob players to continue their work killing NPC's and doing quests. This is only the time they get to progress without being shot every 20 seconds. So between the times of midnight and about 5am, I dont shoot them. Its only fair, we all had the same problem, so I leave them, maybe we can all start to follow the same idea.

If we want new players, don't discourage them, let them build up their accounts. Also, we work towards being stronger ourselves aswell, just because you get UFE, doesnt mean selfishness kicks in, use it to aid lower level players, help them with NPC quests etc, just because your UFE, doesnt mean you have to concentrate on PVP and purely yourselves.

 

We need to work together to encourage new players to reach lvl 14 and get fe stats. This is the only way to keep the game alive for few more years. Big point also need to do more to advertise this game and encouge players to continue to play after they have signed up.
