[SC] hitac

We get two events like these. I find them boring and was wondering how many of us fell the same. They have ran some real good events but why keep bring this boring thing back? So I ask I'm I the only one or is there others who feel the same. Thanks all who take the time.

It is quite exciting for me, it's an in-game lottery system where you have the chance to win amazing prizes, but you do receive some instant rewards for submitting a capsule for a ticket. Even if you don't get any capsules, you can farm up a decent amount of Uridium, even without destroying it. Just shoot it, and allow the Hitac to jump portal before you do; rewards are booked as if it was killed.

But I completely understand where you're coming from. Players (particularity members of MCC that wish to hoard the rewards, even though everyone receives the same rewards, regardless of how many players shoot) don't let others join in on the Hitac, and you may be blocked by them, which really does suck. Even though Dark Orbit is a PvP game, there are certain elements as with ANY PvP game where players shouldn't be prevented access to rewards by others.

Overall, I like the event, whether I can participate. If I can, great, I can reap some decent rewards. If not, still great, the maps where PvPers normally roam are now empty, because they're so focused on picking off players on the Hitac.

 

I guess I look at another way. I play for fun, to kill time. If they have events they should be fun, have a bunch of missions so you can get rewards. I myself find chacing the gray hound a little boring. We have had great events in the past but lately they seam to going down hill. Maybe it was alll the work on the merger, will see. Here's a link to one of the the better events they have ran, to bad they only ran it once. I guess I'll just keep doing gates till I get bored an move on. Wouldn't be the first time. Then when you come back they have lots of new stuff but the same old missions, same old events. One thing I find funny is I have a bunch of noob ships that can only be used in gates because I can't do any missions with them. They only let us do those once.
