i checked the company stats today mmo have 2225 players vru round about the same and eic have a few less

i worked that out to no more than 10,000 giving do a generous 3000 players if ive made a mistake

On the start page it states 94,000,000 million players??

Gone are the days of glorious pvp to be replaced by mind numbingly boring collecting quests,
perhaps if the devs played this game instead of thinking of more ways to extract money from its player base they would get a good feel for where its heading.

logged in this morning and tried to find the aurus ore as "pirates carry it around on a grand scale"
Your words not mine, well after thirty minutes of popping pirates id found exactly zero ore

If u are going to make grand statements at least have the honesty to see it thru otherwise this new update will be heading the same way as all the other great ideas u have had in the last 3 years

 

That states the amount of accounts created in DO, let's not forget there's like 10 or so servers, the game was REALLY active back in the day, most people have 2-3 accounts, even more if they expand on all servers, especially botters, plus the amount of accounts banned so more created.

That's your server not all combined.

 

its all about greed lad not about the game play thay know the game is going down hill thay will never fix it as thay will allway come up with excuses and not promises code is a ferry esy but peep tend to look the at the hard way doing things im on my second course of computer driveing lisence witch is all about codeing ive alll ways hade thatsaying wat a man can make a man can break and peeps do etend to prolong the work so thay can get the max monie out of their job for excample a six week job could take 12 weeks you only have to fit a pato door it only takes a day but it last 3 days lol

Wow so much of haterade. If you are not happy dont play this game. I did for 8 years. I just came back after seeing some improvements. If i dont like like i will stop again. No one is asking you or pushing you to play this game. Yes you have right to voice your opinion but all i see is rants.

 

That is all it is, and posted in the wrong place. OP looks like another stuck trying to do all the pvp missions, and post in the middle of the night. Time would be better spent sleeping than worthless posts.

i have pretty much quit myself now just waiting for halloween event then may log on at xmas, shame really used to be such a great game now just toilet, i logged on to gb2 friday night there wasnt 1 mmo in uppers sad times

 

Dont mean to ruin your enthusiasm but TOT is change. You will have only 3 lives. Get let ammo as rewards. Dont know yet about bonus boxes but i will keep y'all informed

 

crazytoon you have no proof of any of the accusations about the Halloween gate quit telling everyone that you get less ammo this time cause you don't have anything to back it up. Enjoy the game

 

dont worry i dont expect a lot from halloween event after the crappy events we have had recently,
but i missed the gate last time around so just waiting to see what all the fuss is about, but dont want to stray off topic from ops post

Lol, what does the post time matter, the guy obviously posted out of frustration at the game. I have to say I remember when there were 60K players on GB1

 

BTW nearly every MMO game has boring quests. Hunt and collect, nothing else. IMO D O was very funny in the past compared with other MMOs. The "dungeons" (=Galaxy Gates) weren't important, so most of the players could be found in the maps. Although there were some hunters, around 10 to 20 beginners played together in the home maps. The hunters did only kill 1 player around every 10 minutes, it was bearable. Besides they did need more than 3 sec to pop you.

But every MMO game has thousands of little moments of success, which are missing here, so

is understandable.

 

And we get that. Yeah, when I first started playing I saw much more activity in the maps. Now you have have all the time you need to work on killing aliens in peace. Every game has its time in the light. I happened to come across this game because it was a highlighted special in my browsers game shop. If not for that, I would not be here having the fun I am. Players always move on to the next game. Its like consoles and games. One console comes out, everyone buys it. Three months late when another one comes out, everyone moves to it. Its a cycle. Online, there is always the next game, whether free to play or not, and people move to it. Personally, I don't think 60k players is anything to be excited about. Its just adds to the frustration with lag and inability to get anything done for most. Now you see two things, coordinated pvp, and harassing kills. I suppose its better than the lag, like on the test server.

 

Dude if YOU find this game boring stop playing it, how easy is to log out and do something MORE INTERESTING. if you have SUGGESTIONS to make this game LESS BORING then write a post about it ! Seriously with this post you are not helping your self and darkorbit community. I've been playing this game for years and I still find this game NOT BORING at all. So many things to do in the game

 

just my opinion...ur entitled to yours...i took your advice and turned off my pc and went to bed zzzzzzzzzzz and dreamt of glorious PVP back in the day, after 8 years of being a loyal paying customer id rather sleep and dream

 

Been playin for 9 years all this game needs is Merging y? because iown 3 different UFE accounts level 21 GA1 -Active not like b4 , USA WEST -Barely Active only play on SB or EVENTS IF NOT BUGGED & GE1 Most ACtive Very populated , Do focuses on own interest , as of last weeks igot good news witch is y iam back , Mergin has been confirmed , now will see bout that in dec 11 wat kinda Merge
