The '91,000,000 registered players' is the overall registered user in darkorbit.

 

nah it aint, if dark orbit had 91,0000000000000 million registered users it would have 91,00000000000000000 forum users..tut tut bp very misleading

 

Not all players come on the forum. It is not misleading. I didn't come on the forums until 18 months after I started playing.

 

I don't know why you would think that.

• Not every account created goes to the forum to be registered on the forum.
• This game has had 3 different forums now since 2006, the numbered registered on each one don't cross over, it starts from anew.
• There are multiple languages to each forum, so naturally a German speaking user is going to be registered on the German side, not the English one unless they log in through an EN server.

 

Did you count those who received Ban?

No ... do you know when 2006 was? Do you know what year it is now? Was 2006 2 years ago?

Are you just a troll or something, I really can't believe you said something that stupid whilst inferring that I'm the one being the idiot for saying it. I'll explain it out, since apparently you need it.

This game was created in December 2006. It is currently 2015, not 2008 as you seem to think it is. Since this games creation (2006) there have been 3 separate forums for the game, 2006 - 2008, 2008 - 2013, 2013 - 2015. Now as I said, the numbers registered in the 2nd forum which was the longest running so far, won't have been carried over and ported into this current version, everyone will have had to re-register again and not everyone will have.

Since December 2006 to today, there have been 91 million accounts created, not 91mil individual people, but 91mil accounts. The statistics shown on the forum are ONLY accounts who then go and visit THIS forum, which obviously not every account will do.
It might also interest you to know that the vast majority of those 91million registered accounts have been deleted due to inactivity since most of them were just noob accounts on new servers or chat accounts.

Now, is that clear enough for you or are you going to get confused by what year it is again?

Two things are infinite.. the universe and human stupidity.. I'm not sure about the universe​

 

if you have one account registered on different servers you're automatically creating more accounts that add up to those 91 million (for example if someone from the US wants to check an event on the european server an accesses to one of them, that person automatically creates an account. + All the chat ships + all the accounts created for trolling +all the ships created for people to hold titles + accounts created just to hold the leadership on a second clan, the list goes on and on.... It's easy to say that an average Darkorbit player has created 20 accounts easily.

is this easier for u.....although it states on the game page that there are 91 quadzillionbilliontrillion accounts..there are actually 0.0000000000000000000000001 % of players actually playing the same server that u are about to log in to....from what u have typed okapi, or am i misleadingnow?? what a div always stickin up for bp i remember when they lowered the boxing rate years ago...there u was saying u could still box 20k easy blah blah blah, u must be employed by em for the way u stick up for em, lying about registered players and actual players is misleading whichever way u wanna mash it up end of!!

Anyway, why does the number matter? It's not like there are more pressing matters you could be complaining about. Go whine about something more useful and then ignore peoples' replies there. We might actually get somewhere with it...

 

sheesh im only stating a fact that it says at the top of the page it has 91 million users...clearly that is not the case given that the vast majority have been deleted due to inactivity...its like me saying ive had twenty girlfriends and still counting them as mine when in reality i got married years ago to the ONE i love, im not interested in 91 something deleted inactive accounts i am interested in the numbers of players logging into this once beloved game !! he started the name calling not me

 

The number isn't saying that there is 91mil people playing though is it? It just says there has been 91mil registered accounts.

Such a useless thread, did you honestly just try and find something pointless to complain and make a scene about?

no i never lol i said its misleading of bp to state it has 91 million registered accounts whether they play or not when there are only 262k registered members in the forum, u have said everything else lol
