[SC] I Need help!!

Hello everyone, first i wanna thank you for taking your time to read this. Starting off, i play darkorbit since 2009 and i've quit many times, always coming back hoping for some change regarding difficulty, recently i've decided to play it for real and i just got full elite.

Now im completely lost, i play on global europe 2 and i'm a mmo player. I wanna progress on the game and i've been doing a lot of research regarding what to do next, everybody tells me to go grind palladium or box on 4-x maps but i can't do that, everytime i try to box or palla a pulsat comes and kill me using moth formation (I use a vengeance with 576 speed on both configs), by the way when i die i still have plenty of shield so buying the ring formation won't work. By the way again , i've been trying to collect boxes and palla for the last week and i've died many times just can't stand it anymore.

Another suggestion is to find a good clan but it seems that no good clan wants me as i'm not ufe and i don't speak russian or any other language other than portuguese and english. Also i cannot stand the clan wars, i mean more enemies trying to kill me .

Pretty much im stuck and i need your help, if you have any suggestions please write them bellow, also if you have a clan that could help me palla on Ge 2 i would love to join it.

Befor i was UFE i would box my x-2 map cuz like u said ull die alot but in the x-2 map u can see if other company's are in there, you wont make as much but u wont die. I would wait for a LF4 day box and pick up booty boxes depending on how long i would do it for id make 3 or 4 lf4 eveytime. Thats just what i did it was quite boring but it was worth it.

 

Other than a clan you could try grouping with other clanless players and work as a group for some safety, hopefully you can find some one with a moth formation and together take the pusat down as it is a hit and run ship and if it gets mothed by some one in a group and you work together it will run because its hull is to weak for a fighting match with a good group working together.

 

Since you can't palli or box you may as well scrap the Vengie right now Get a Goli. Your gonna have to get most of your uri
from killing stuff. If your gonna play serious you'll need at least Premium, Doubler and Rebate on occasion. If you don't have
a pet get one with at least Kammi 3 and auto looter. Oh, make sure you have your skylab up to par (lvl max) Use credits from
skylab and npc's to bid on ships, boosters and gear in auction (sometimes items can be won with low bids)
*TIP* if you gonna spend alot of uri ALWAYS use rebate.

Go to x-8 maps in Goli, equip pet with kammi an auto looter. Box in x-8 uncloaked with pet on auto looter every 2 to 2.5 min
kammi the horde of streuner's that have been following you. Shoot down the weak boss streuner's left over. Do this for an hour.
Normally you without prem and box doubler you'll make 6500 to 8500 uri, a nice load of xeno and 20 to 30 free gate energies.
double those figures with doubler. To change up the pace use same method in uber maps on small boss's an uber's.
*TIP* always let off kammi in close proximity to a port or base.

For now save up your uri for the Discount Days and Flash Sales DO have put in the game. In particular the Galaxy Gate discount
days. *TIP* Use your free gate spins during regular days. Start spamming Zetas for Havocs. Use log disk from gate rewards and
gate materializer to boost up your pilot bio. Save your booty keys for Apis,Zeus and Helix LF-4 Day. *TIP* it would seem if you use
keys on Zeus Day you tend to get a lot of Apis parts instead of Zeus parts, LF-4 or ship design. Also once you have enough parts
to build your Apis drone don't, if you wait until you have most or all of Zeus parts you'll get 30 to 35 LF-4's. *Optional* if you have
extra uri you can use the Booty Key discount day to get extra keys. Then Build APIS and ZEUS for almost free. By then you should
have a full set of Havocs or close to it.

Now you'll have to do Kappas's to get the rest of your LF-4's and set of Hercs. There's no easy way to say it. The rest of the way to
UFE could be quite a grind even if you buy uri. You'll just have to push through. Personally I spent a lot of time grinding, pallying,
boxing and a small piece of change to get full Hercs. If your diligent it may not take that long to reach UFE maybe between 600 to
900 hrs of actual game play if DO don't change anything.

 

For the OP, when you are boxing I have one word for you:

CLOAK

I box in a BigBoy cloaked and have yet to be attacked. Pally is a different story as you can't cloak and pally, but boxing... cloak it up and have a ball. Also keep your eyes open. If you see red, head the other way.
