[SC] I really gonna quit DO

Game is excellent ... but because of last few days server falling apart i loose nerves and when i get into fight with other players, client breaks and i get killed by newbies.. So BP is very rubbish and bye bye DO...

should we say 'Goodbye' or beg you to stay? I/we/many of us have been here a long time and have been popped many times by players that should not have been able 'if this or that' and problems will happen in any game as it develops.. If you dont have the staying power then play something that doesnt change, like Checkers, or dont play anything you can lose at.. some ppl cant abide anything new...
I have to admit that I also dont like any instability in the game but 'to make omelettes...' as they say, and also there are those that will happily hurt you and me with their 'attacks that dont conform'
I hope that you can wait a while and see if things improve by whatever 'gauge' you measure things by...

 

I think I am going to go through and see how many threads talk about, "I am leaving now."

If one wants to leave the game, just go. We don't need the song and dance about it. Nothing is going to fix in 5 minutes to keep you here. If sympathy is needed, you have family and friends in real life to lean on.

I am just tired of seeing these depressing "I can't take it anymore" threads. I got popped 7 times yesterday and yet I don't come in here complaining about how I can't make my credits.

Its not really destroying the community. I see this all the time. People have already given up before they really tried.

I think I am at 90 pops since Dec and I keep trucking along. I had a guy tell me yesterday that he was going to kill me because he needed kills in 5-2 for mission. I responded that I could not help him as now it would be pushing. LOL

I think the OP has a lag issue, I know I do. Also, the OP should check the graphic settings. That could help resolve the "breaking" issue. Unfortunately, instead of asking for resolutions, the OP has already made the decision to leave and will probably never see these suggestions.

This game either takes a whole lot of TIME or a whole lot of Cash. Many newbies expect to have everything in a short amount of playing time and loose interest quickly when the expense of time or $$ is beyond their means.

 

Your telling me. I have to adjust my contact list from time to time because you never see the player anymore.

 

as PSK~SUNDANCE has said asking for help and advice is one thing... threats are nothing... we all been there and some are even secondary accounts making a 'NOISE' !!!
I have been trying to be something in this game for a long time... I have financial limits but I do spend a little... and find that I personally get more from subscriptions than buying Uri... !!
We all play our own game... all I ask is that we play according to the rules and T+C... and with 'honour' as the game is atm without honour, then it ceases to be a game and becomes something else...

The whole issue is the OP is complaining about something D O has no control on (the DDoS attacks). Any ONLINE game you go to is going to have the same problem. Most of the THREATS to leave the game I have seen is over the poor judgement that D O has used when implementing changes to the game or poorly executed events, which are their problems.

The DDoS attacks are something they are trying to deal with and they have asked for some tolerance while dealing with them. If you have no tolerance then good riddance, good bye, saianara, don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you, just leave already. No reason to come whine to us that you are leaving, however, if you had a suggestion on how to prevent the DDoS attacks in the future then we might give a crud about it.

I agree with you about the HONOUR being gone from the game ATM. I don't know where it went but when the populations started dwindling so did the honor that was the game. Company allegiances have to be rekindled and the cross company clans (though can not be destroyed) need to abide by the honor of the game and allow company lines to remain, if you are mmo do not help vru or eic target/kill mmo. The biggest problem that is causing the frustration in this game is the assisted kill by your own company and lack of protection from enemies in maps for less than UFE players (yes as the UFE are elite and fewer than the FE of old the protection is less), but the attitudes of the UFE have changed from the attitudes of the FE (they don't want to grind NPC's, except in GG's) they want to HUNT and don't care if it is red or not.

I used to spend on the game but when I found I was going to have to spend, spend, spend, and spend again I stopped spending as I saw it as a waste of my resources.

Enjoy the game, if you can, suggest changes that might be able to help the game, or just leave, it is no skin off or noses, BUT whatever you do it is up to you. Who am I to tell you what is best for you.

 

ATM I stop playing D O, I'm not happy with this game. My hope for more fun died after seeing the Carnival Event...The last chance will be the Crafting system. If they disappoint me, I will...play passively until the next great update. JK I will stop playing 3 years and after this time I will look the old announcement.
