[SC] Item upgrade bonus?

I was wondering how much uri is worth putting in to upgrading items, since it's very costly. I looked around trying to find out things like how much more damage and how much more shield you would gain from upgraded items.
Like, how much more damage would 35 non-upgraded lf4's do compared to 35 lvl 16 lf4's? And the same with bo2's, how much more shield would you get?
Does anyone have any estimates on this?

 

I believe Lvl 16 LF4s give an additional 12 damage per laser and Lvl 16 B02s give 1500 bonus shield per gen.

 

Well okay. Would it be best to upgrade one type first, like lasers before shields or vice versa, or should I try to upgrade them both equally?

But as you have equipment on the Drones these need to be upgraded first and depending on what your are doing PvP or PVE you need to upgrade accordingly PvE I would do Shields PvP do your lasers, if a mix of both then do them equally, remembering LF-3 upgrading is a waste, usually, as you will be replacing these with LF-4's. Upgrading is most cost effective if being done during Upgrade Bonus Hour with rebate and premium the discounted rate is 47.5% cheaper during this time.

Most people think the 25% UBH adds to the 30% from the other 2 but this discount is from the discounted rate so the 30% comes off and then the 25% comes off of the 70% cost which is why I state the 47.5% discount not a 55% as most people think.

 

Without Rebate and Premium, you get a discount of 25% during that time which, as a free player, is pretty good.

 

As always this type of question relies upon you method of play... 35 LF4 suggests PvP but your longterm plan to achieve your ultimate goal is part of the equation...
As PSK~SUNDANCE has asked the first must be the Iris drones and Rocket Launcher as you use these everytime you attack something or someone... after that you appear to have a good chance at PvP though I am similar in some ways and as yet I dont PvP unless I am defending myself.. I have BO2s upgraded for this reason and if you were to PvP more then... well you can see where I am going...

but one of the things I like about the game is that you can play your own way and not all things are ideal... you have to look at the opportunities and decide which will advantage your own player-style/budget best...

Yes, I have all my drones in lvl 16 and only need my lf4's and shields now. I guess I will mainly upgrade my lf4's first then since I often do a lot of PVP.

And thank you @HelpMeHelpYou for clearing up the discount on upgrade hour, I too thought it was 55% off.

 

on topic but mabe off topic so sorry for post so my battle con is all lvl16 shields all lf4 lvl16 running goli double boosters 18 mill of semp on lazers basicaly everthing in the right place but there is ppl in my clan not lvd up no were near hitting more than me SO i ask u lot in forum y or how com PLEASE no negative feedback i just need info why ppl hitting me so hard same cons regards unhappy player on gb1 server

 

There are a few factors one is pilot bio if your attacker as a better bio set up for PvP than you they will hit harder also the damage you receive is calculated as total damage per second, the damage you deal shows different you will see laser damage, rocket damage and how often you miss thus giving the appearance that your attacker is dealing more damage.

 

@OILDAILY; As USS-Aries says your Pilot Bio has complete control over your damage and is actually better than the Upgrade system. Here is the link to follow for better information and depending on how many assigned makes a world of difference in the way you survive battles.
