[SC] Just shut off the game already

You're closing down servers due to player lose, but you never stop to ask why players are losing interest. Your elite multi-company clans are destroying what's left of this game. You know it and you don't care.

Can you tell me what would you like to see in our game ? If you have any great ideas I'm happy to pass them forward. Just make sure you give it good description.

P.S. As far as I know devs are working on multi company clans - information coming out of twitch stream.

Its not the multi company clan its the rampant botting that is left uncheck and goes on for months and the response is the scripts are doing there job
Yet the same guys are botting 24/7 the scripts needs to work better cause soon you will be left with a server of bots and when you shut them down you will have a dead server.

 

Multi-Company Clans are definitely a part of the demise of this great game. But I think more than them is this new "Shared Boosters in Outfit" which are also "Shared" across companies. This is by far the dumbest idea I've seen in 11 years. I once thought "Chance" was the worst but nope, it's the shared boosters in outfits.

Here is a scenario to contemplate:

You're in your own company map, there is an enemy also in the map, this enemy is a part of an 8 member group the other 7 are in your own company. This player is UFE and hits now an extreme amount of damage, cruising around near indestructible popping players like nothing. Now all the players who had the misfortune of trying to fight that enemy come on chat and begin accusing that enemy player of cheating, when really it's not. Believe me it's happened to me and I, on my own deal some serious damage yet even with over a million shield strength I get smoked by a single player. I find this same player later out in a map and that players damage is near half of what it was less than an hour ago. Why? because that player is no longer in the outfit. How would I know this? Simple, I sent invite, it went threw but was not accepted. Mean while, when that player was slamming the map the outfit didn't go threw meaning, already in an outfit.

This is still a fine game but is troubled by constant problems.

im on us east server and were all fed up with the multi company clans there can be 8 of us ufe in a outfit double boosted vs 8 of them double boosted in a outfit and they wipe us out like peanuts when certain players are on with there amazing impossible locks which we know is autolock and im pretty sure these programs fires perfect white and rsb combos to

 

I can see both sides of this coin, the OLD Shared boosters gave away Cloaked Ships positions and could be shared with anyone, of the same company, in proximity. Now it is a maximum of 8 players inside an Outfit with no regard to the Company they belong to.

We used to deal with SPIES, players who open a second account and fly the friendly skies for their friends from the enemy Companies. Now with the numbers so LOW, D O has decided to allow these players to join cross Company Clans and as they are the TOP 250 Players in the game they run over the other players with ease, Could you imagine a clan with MatchBox, General Cave, Onkyo, and ChurchofBob (US2) who all could withstand attacks of 8-12 and walk away laughing with just scratches, most of the time, before the UFE came around. The difference was a mindset of OUR COMPANY is BETTER than YOURS has changed to OUR CLAN is BETTER than anyone ELSE, the constant attacking of same Company players being tolerated is another joke and seen by the extension of declared WAR to 100 days as being acceptable play style.

I am hoping the focus on the MERGE has also been on getting rid of the OLD CODE and moving away from FLASH as it is not going to be available in a few years, which is the main excuse why the changes have been such failures recently. The fact that they have stated they are NOT working on the KNOWN ISSUES because of the pending MERGE is just fuel on the fire for people to be frustrated as issues are in two and a half YEARS (April Fools 2015) without resolution and we are frustrated as heck about it.

 

Yes I am new to this since I have not play this game in many years. I come back last month to play DO again what do I fine in maps I find something called Multi-Company Clans. I say to myself what is this MMO EIC and VRU all friends now hmm m. I don't have strong V-Lighting like I use to, but to me if the dot is red it is dead.... I don't have my old ship no more if I did I kill everyone for that. Now I go to cubi and EIC MMO and VRU shoot me.... : ) that is good I know who they are now Soon they will be my lunch...
Yumm yumm They make big mistake they don't know who they shoot they shoot me... Soon they do not get off gate the old Cobra is back ji ji ji ji they run for dear life to jump port if they make it lol like the old days lol.

I AM ON EAST 2 fixing a ship I use to be West player long ago about 7 years ago piloted a Vengi and I am back in a Vengi.

I thought it would be easy to make ship there. Some what it is. I have the lЯøŊ☢ℳᴧŊ ship. I can not say my old name they will get scared and will not let me make my ship in peace. I can tell you one thing they don't know how to fight all they use is this new ring formation new drill formation and Old Moth Tho they have strong ships UFEs fully loaded I am glad DO have put the lance formations back lol I show them a few tricks how to use it what Lance and Vengi can do to Uber UFE

Multi Clans yeah more kills for me. I have my own company shooting me when I am on cubi hummm noobs they get EIC or MMO to help them if I don't have clan tag I don't quit lol I continue to fix my ship soon everyone will be hugging the portVRU EIC MMO They want to make it a FREE FOR ALL hmmmmm Okay Wango tango time soon Don't bann me for killing losers

I agree 100% I don't know what the devs were thinking when they were sitting around the table using whatever 'inspirational recreational help' they used to come up with this.

A new player or even a regular player has to deal with the 1 shot hits from the overpowered players who use the glitches. Now we can have a player park extra ships in the map and you think those mmo ships are 'friendly' nope they are only there to help the guy running around the map with FULL boosters. This doesn't take into account the ship abilities being used. You have a guy running 4 extra accounts with 4 solaces. How do you think the fight goes?

I don't even bother anymore. Once in a while I brawl with them but watching a ship outrun me in heart/ring/drill when I am chasing them in wheel with full speed. Nah. I cant have 2mill shields, hit full damage and outrun a tart in wheel. Maybe someone can clue me in on how to get the tradeoffs to balance like that.

Oh and another curiousity: Why do I have to wait to use my pet repair bot on my ship but another player can use it WHILE I AM SHOOTING HIM?

 

They use Combo or Battle repair bot one is in PET Gear the other is in Tech portion of the SkyLab.

As I know who you were and what you could do, I have to ask how much money you put into the old account and how much you plan on putting into the new account(s). You always were decent once you killed a player they were pretty much safe from your attacks as long as they did not attack you. You were a menace to the pilots who did attack you (or even stumbled into you) when you were resting in an enemy map. But like you said the mention of your name sent the FE players running for the portals or looking for the other STRONG FE pilots to join in trying to get you out of the maps, but you had some vicious skills that many would die trying and you were left with just a few scratches in the paint on that Lightning Vengi.

 

I have that gear. It does not work on my ship unless I am OUT of the fight. It has a delay to repair on my ship. Maybe the DO Q/A team needs to change mine to match as I am seeing pets repair ships right after they emp and run. Mine I can count 4 before it starts.

of course its strange there using scripts i had it yesterday on gb1 18th of dec rolling around maps got bmp some cheat farming rays i came up and guess 2combos dead repped came back same a gain emp didnt work insta shot straight through and u wonder y ppl are leaving bots in 1-3 its a joke it needs a full on ban END OF done game over for cheats

 

It's not so much the money it is experience and time... You can spend a lot money and time on this game and still not know how to fight and use your configs the right way... and it becomes additive and a money hole for some. Don't get me wrong we need wallet warriors on this game we would not be playing this game without them... So, yes every player counts on this game. To answer your question: How much money did I spend...Just like to point out I didn't spend much of my own money on this game back then, bonus boxes were good paying, not like today. Then they had something called Bank Doublers that BP took off the game on my old ship I buy premium. If I would have had to put a price on it, maybe about 5000 USD over years. I would buy the 2 or 3 of the Rebates that DO had to offer us... When I was not killing anyone I was doing gates, picking up little boxes in PVP maps where I got known for my self defense skillz, I realized that I could not beat these killers in hand to hand combat so I had to improvise... I know they had a lot of shields on their ships So I knew speed was the answer to my problem and the top killers that controlled the money pits were like turtles to move you have to ask who will win the race the rabbit or the Turtle? Yes PVP maps now are not like back then PVP maps now are easy you all are lucky, PVP that's where the good Uri was if you wanted it you had to fight for it or die trying to get it as I said uri was alot better back than PVP was the feeding grounds for killers. Yes I wanted to fix my ship most players if you were smart not like me you would not go in to pvp you would die in seconds trying to pick up little bonus boxes these mean ship would kill you so yeah playing at night was kind of scary When Church of Bob pulled up next to you You know dying time was at hand. In order to be a good fighter on this game you have to be a good runner first I have big clans like 20 enemies chasing me all over the maps trying to kill me I developed a skill I call it snap and shoot so yeah I kill on the run so it was not a good idea to chase me so here we have speed again as I run away. As I run away from many I be checking for see who had less hp for the easy kill. I move in the swarm for the easy kill and and be checking HPs and run again

I don't spend much money on New account I know how to make ships I buy deals... If I want uri I pick up boxes, yes it takes a long time in the pvp maps again. I do quest also I go to 5 3 for gate spins... I only do Zeta gate for booty keys for LF 4 day and booty keys are good for much stuff now I get 10k now my advice do much Zeta gates on Sunday lol I love this now you get 50 keys now wow, you save lots go keys then you go make your ship happen. but No I don't spend 100.00 for uri No for some ship that I may not be able to log on account the next day no.

 

Well, my skill seems to be coming back again I am not going to post kills here but I am killing high ranks in weak ship and they don't seem to like it lol.

We are at it again on a new post. We have 15 pages on Multi-Company Clan post about this. Nothing is going to change, and nothing we say will help. OD doesn't care. They just want your money. I want a game we can all have fun.

If they didn't care, why the hell they would even open that thread? Just making no sense, the multi-company clans are an issue that is very hard to fix, because it makes a lot downsides no matter the fix is. It's a problem that DO can't fix themselves, they ask our opinion and yet as you see the discussion by yourself, there's always sides of that and that, leaving no exact clear and correct solution to the problem, meaning also that what ever was the solution, players will complain it was wrong due to thing x.

The best solution would've been before clans were implemented: If the clan is for EIC, then you have no possibility to accept people from other companies.

 

im pretty sure ship pushing is making more people quit then anything honestly 30% honor and exp come on now?
