  1. Honestly, the MCC has been here a very long time and until the server populations dropped so low was never an issue as we had enough people to control them. With all of these PROTECTION MINDED PLAYERS GONE these clans have become a nuisance and since they have been here so long it is hard to say exactly what to do with them. In the early years of D O they used spy ships, these were players who created a second account in the enemy company and without letting anyone know they were with the enemy would target you for the enemy but not attack, we figured out who they were and started killing them as we assigned them to a KOS (Kill On Sight) LIST as these accounts got stronger then they incorporated into the Clans they were helping (thus became the MCC) but again we had the map protectors to prevent them from attacking the newbs in the lower maps. Then came the AJP and we could no longer protect our maps at the Portal and the start of the population decline, as they implemented the LF-4 and upgrades plus the extra Galaxy Gates and the Top Users saw their Ranks being attacked the major wallets also left the game, creating a vacuum allowing these clans to OWN the maps and now 4 years later D O has decided enough is enough and trying to wiggle out of the mess they allowed to happen since their game is in a downward spiral they can not control.

Whatever they decide it is only a band-aide on a major tear in the structure of D O and will cause even more players to leave the game before it will start regaining the populations we used to have, but I believe this is too little and too late to save this sinking ship. Regrettably I see this first round of mergers being the first of several and will end when they have a dozen or so servers filled with these MCC minded monsters who fly the maps during special events, BOT like heck when nothing is happening, running the gates they stole botting on Sundays collecting the double rewards, just to keep the ill gotten rank they have.

I am waiting to see what they do with the server merge and then I may even be one of those that finally say enough is enough. Would be nice to know how many pre 2010 accounts are actually still around.

  2. I've been around since December 2008. Wow almost a decade. I agree with every single word you said. Nice to see someone that thinks the same as me.

with todays gaming mentality, it's not so much mcc or ufe pops that may be driving people away and discouraging new players. its the extremely high prices for things and when a new player realizes they have to farm for months to get anywhere to even start "playing" the game, they stop playing and move on to other games that offer quicker results and better socializing.

short attention spans and no phone app to make things easier.

Multi Company Clans are a huge problem and DO says they are aware of it.Being aware of something and doing something about it are two different things. You can write support and the only answer you get when you write them about anything is "thats the way it is"no real help.Even if DO does stop MCC'S it wont help the game as they same clans will start different clans under different names in each company and form alliances with them.So the problem will not be solved.DO likes to talk a good game, but it is doubtful they will actually do anything due to upsetting the UFE and $$ players. They even brought that out in original forum.DO has created most of the problems they have with the game with all they have allowed and changed. These changes are mostly geared towards the $$$ players who do nothing but get stronger off of what they purchase. The answer to DO should be players stop spending money on the game and hit them in the pocketbook or just stop playing the game. This is most likely the fastest way to get DO to actually do something about all the problems.
