    1. When I logged on I had 20k Uridium and the Goliath costs 50k. Have prices changed? I remember Goliath being the best at the time and not being anywhere near it.

    2. I had 40k 3x ammo when I logged on, did I really spend 40k uri on it? I have a hard time imagining that. Did the prices change here maybe? I am doing quests and all now, but using 3x ammo is not profitable now, I lose money, which makes me wonder how the hell I had 40k 3x ammo (and 140k 2x ammo?") How did I have 2k of those 7 uri cost rockets?

Is there actually a way of progressing without paying for Uri? It feels impossible.

Yes the Goliath was reduced in price, but don't spend uridium on it. Get it from trade, winning any Goliath design will now also give you the actual Goliath ship due to changes with how the hanger works. You can pick up something like the Amber Goliath for 10,000 credits on hourly trade easily.

Not too sure about your ammo bit, buying x3 and then using it on NPC to make uridium was never really profitable. Might as well use it while you have it though.

If you hang around until Monday they are going to be releasing a new laser which does 145 damage vs NPC for 300,000 credits. That will be a big help to progressing without spending any uridium.
Not sure when you stopped playing but if you spend uridium on building Zeta GG then wait for a 'double reward weekend' you will get x2 rewards from completing the gate, which means if its your first Zeta you get almost guaranteed to get 2 havoc. The double bootykeys and log disks will also a be a big help to you.

Kinda confused, but most importantly, how do I go about getting the Goliath for 10k credits? I didn't understand that part.

Also about the Zeta, do I build it now or wait for the 2x reward?

Get the Goliath from auction (I called it trade in the previous post) - scroll to the bottom of the auction and you will see a selection of Goliath, just bid the minimum of 10,000 credits and try to win one, shouldn't be too much competition for them. On most servers they never get won because everyone has them already.

For the Zeta you can build it whenever you want. Just so long as you complete it during the double rewards event you will be fine.

  5. If you look in the NEW Hangar you can see the Ships (used to be designs) and if they are available in the hourly Auction you will find competition for these to be minimal. If they are not stat changing (just a skin) then they will be available for the Basic Goliath only, however, there are designs for Specific ships (Frost for instance) and they are seen in that ships design section. Also once you own one of these Ships/Designs you are unable to see them anymore (on the Auction page). Unless you really like the Basic Aegis (daily Auctions) you no longer have to buy it to use the Veteran or Elite just buy the one you like the most, this is true with the Citadel and Spearhead also.

  6. Hi OrtiQ
as Okapi32 has said you can get a basic Goliath in the Auction, though depending on your equipment you may feel that the Vengie or Leonov is better with their speed to start off until you have enough gear to fully equip the Goliath...
The info from HelpMeHelpYou about the new Hangar arrangements is good but the info about the new ships will be useful to you later perhaps as frm what you have said I think you stopped playing before several of the ships we have now and you need a lot of credits to stand a chance of winning the Elite or Veteran anything and you dont yet know what they do ....
I really came here to point out a post >here< which is about a group of ppl doing exactly what you need to know :) Zero to Hero might be a good experience for you...
another addition is the Discord channel which many DO players use to connect....
Hope all the above is useful...
