[SC] Lags

    I beg development team to check out laser animation and appearance because old team when change it game start to have lags.

    Secound check out CBS because since day CBS are in the game fight with 20vs20 from 60 fps fall down to 15-20 fps. It happen over night, nothing else was changed that day, only CBS became part of game, since that day game lag as today, don't really lag but isn't fluid anymore.

    Please don't aswer me with clean cookies and cache already done it and have way better PC than its minimal requirement.

    This 2 things slow down game a lot for some reson please investigate it.

    Its not just me, all players i speak with at that time feel it, this 2 things when come in game all of us start to feel some kind of lag. You where also play in that time I'm sure you remember it. If they still didn't investigate it, there is some place to improve perfomanse.

    On cubikon I always have 40-60 fps but pvp when 20 ship use laser, rocket, helstrom, ish, emp than start to drop significantly thats basicly same as 20 protegits or 20 ships I don't see difference ...

    Here where I come from you buy food not new CPU or GPU. I know RAM is kind a low but its still over minimal specification they say game require.

    PVE work more than fine, PVP is problem.

    4GB RAM is more than optimal for DO, have you checked also how much RAM is being used by other processes and programs before starting to play.

    May I also ask, how computer literate are you in terms of using the BIOS (Usually hitting "Delete" on post as your computer starts up), as your RAM timings could be tightened to increase data transfer and cycles between your CPU and RAM, currently your timings are 9-9-9-24, I reckon those could be dropped to lower figures, thus increasing system performance (if you are going to drop the numbers shown, do them in 1's, IE, 9-9-9-24 down to 8-8-8-23, or which ever ones appear).

    Also noticed your CPU is DualCore, if it helps, you may want to research CoreParking, as when a CPU detects it isn't really using a core, it will "Park" it, or basically put it to sleep until needed, disabling this feature will grant the use of all cores at all times.

    Bare in mind also, that with NPC's, the game will load them much quicker, as they are flying about as the game knows where they are. But with PVP, these objects (or ships if you will) will be loaded as you see them, as the game cant predict the position of a player ship, so it will load it as it knows it.

    Fly under crazy cubikon in cloack when they don't shoot anybody is possible on cca 30 fps, at moment when protegits start to fire on ship fps drop significantly. If they give option to lower animation of laser, npc laser. Yes effect in settings lower some thing to make performanse better but it must include laser too, to improve performanse even better. This effect option is to general, in future on download client when that happen I hope they will spend some time and separate to explosion after kill, rocket effect, laser effect, ish and emp to I can actually see it even i dont wanna see rocket better and wanna lower laser couse ish is 3 sec and got cooldown but laser shoot all time. Good adition to laser can be just 1 laser line every secound, there is no need for double line and 2 fire of laser per sec, I think that can improve performanse a lot.

    I plan to replace RAM with stronger soon, don't really wanna play with BIOS and instal RAM alone couse last time my brother replace RAM he burn motherboard couse timing and MHz

    It happens to everyone. even people using PC's with a very good specs, on fights where there are a lot of ships, it laggs like hell...
