How about guys that are running 2 million shields chasing you down and hitting over 85k-95k X4
In my experience to have shields and speed you have to give up fire power to have shields and fire power you have to give up speed
to have over 1 million shields and speed you have to put shields on at least 8 drones that cuts your dmg and in this case fights should last longer 15-20 seconds however i still see fights between these guys last less than 10 seconds

 

yup. Not to mention hitting the same on both configs lol

Tho I have sent videos in the past to support and they say they don't take them that videos is not enough proof there you have it... Tho if you want to see I will record a video for you I am not sure support will support or not they didn't some time ago

 

Post the videos of these infamous hacks in this thread then, if anything it will help other players know what to look out for. We could all find it useful and would be grateful.

I am sure Okapi32 is a master of the game and his many achievements are countless to name however i always see him defending or counteracting any thing that points to unfair play we all know that Bot usage is not limited to picking up boxes or pally for some one to hit you max dmg for the entire fight takes more that just mortal skill and practise

No need to show proof. Yes a few of these guys are are real cheaters, able to log out of b-maps during a fight, use multiple
emp's consecutively or just seem to be able to take a pounding from many UFE's taking little to no damage. If you've played
the game for a bit most have seen what I'm talking about. But for the most part I believe its in the visuals. A lot of times when
I'm in a fight it the opponent shield and hp may not be correct. I have popped several people in battles that to me looked like I
was loosing going by what i was seeing on the shield and hp meter.

 

Personally I like to see evidence of something before believing it to be true, didn't know that was such a radical thought. Makes me even more suspicious when I asked for some proof and a user spends a few posts avoiding giving any of it and begins to question my own PvP skill only to shut up about that too.

The account I do most PvP stuff on is my GE1, this is its set up:

1: x4 / 2: RSB / 3: damage rocket / 4: Icey / 5: SAB/CBO / 6: Cloak / 7: EMP / 8: PLD / 9:Smartbomb / 10: ISH
Q: Ring / W: Drill / F: DCR (fps moved to 'M') / A: Pincer / S: Moth / Space: Ship ability / X: fire rocket - for when icey is in range but auto CPU isnt
Shift1-10: Less common formation (chevron, crab etc), the techs, some mines, an alternative hellstorm than I have already running.

Depending on if it's solo or in a group some things will get moved around, like in groups we use mines quite a lot for cleaing CBS so will put them on a number hotkey instead of PLD.



As for me 'defending' people, if I don't believe something that a player is saying I will ask for proof.

Equally if a player has questions about what I am saying they can ask, such as DJXL.SA.TX who seemed to have doubts that I was any good at PvP so asked about my JP records, I gave it to him. He or she has since refused to show their own.

I do not believe there are players running around with 0 HP and 0 Shield killing UFE in 10v1s. If I am shown proof of this then I will have no problems admitting I was wrong.

 

Quite the same goes for me as before the OP introduced this topic I had never heard/read about such complaints. I must also add that I too play on west and have not encountered such pilots - sure I have popped in 3-4 seconds sometimes but every one of them I can find a reason for - very good timing of combos from the opponent, me lagging or just switching confs a bit too slowly etc. As far as skill goes I would say I am decent since I have beaten UFE pilots on numerous occassions with my not even semi-UFE ship. All in all I too would need proof to believe such claims from the OP.

 

i agree alot of what people complain is cheats is just visual differences. i have also seen an agis spam shield repair just last night, see ships in uba where you pound on them and they barely scratched. i have seen moth take out 400k hp with only 700k shield on config and no i stayed in one config and still had 300k shield left when popped my bio alright shouldn't be more then 18% to hp , not 50% to hp

yes there is alot a player can do with true skill but some things just cant be explained ive ran into that player where me and 4 others are pounding on them they got a sliver of hp left no shield and you see 5 ships pop and the 10k hp wonder fly off. no emp/cloaks all kept lock all was shooting the whole time i want the opposite i want proof that this is possible i want to see a video of 5 people attacking one that has 10 k hp left and see just how skill can come into play without using any tools but moth,X4/rsb and they got to last 4 mins enough time to pop all 5 players and they have to stay still this dude just sat there tanking us

 

That's all very well and good but if you are going to say something happens in the game that is a player cheating then you have to be able to at least provide evidence that it happened the way you are describing it. I cannot begin to count the amount of times I have killed a player and their story of what happened is completely different to how I saw it, even better when I recorded it as well.

It is completely unrealistic for you to claim something happened then ask people to prove it didn't, when you are not giving anything to back up your own claim. It is you stating that somebody is cheating, you have to be able to back it up.




That is no different from me saying right now that you are 'hacking' the game and can do 1,000,000 per x4 shot. If you do not give proof to me that you are not doing this then I am right. If you show me a screenshot or video of you doing normal damage then obviously you have just turned off your cheat to cover your tracks. However I will refuse to give any proof to back up my accusation.

It's entirely flawed logic set up so only I can "win" and you lose every time.

 

i agree with you 100% there is so much lagg in DO now days its hard to say whats real or not even with a video for proof its far from proof as some can edit very well and like you said shut there thing down. The only proof DO will consider is their illegal program detector which is a good thing, think how many would get falsely banned cause of lagg or having bot like behavior if a video was proof enough for DO.

Their detection system is so slow to catch these people and it seem more focused on bonus boxes rather then the tools that these bots offer. Day to day a bot boxing effects players in the long run but a bot that has tools that let you see invisible ships or auto lock hell even log multi accounts to follow main ship and shoot what you shoot (i haven't run across this one lol ) you run into these and sometimes its so apparent its funny. These are the things most everyone i know wants detected hell maybe DO can detect the tools too but the cheaters forum only crying about getting banned for boxing (its so fun to see justice served).

now DO banning over 6k accounts last month or soon to be last month yeah they stepping up their game the problem is the player still sees all this funny crap going on and yes almost 80% of the time its probably just a mistake but the knowledge the bots are out there and can do alot more then just pick up a bonus box sends people on a crash course to accusing another player. which gets dealt with a lot swifter then detecting a cheating player it seems. I understand that bonus boxes is cutting into DOs pocket and that should in a business get priory but making the game attractive to players is huge too one player can make 10 more leave being dissatisfied or bring 10 by loving the game that's why i think a focus should be put on these tools if its not already.

i do agree with you that there has to be proof to accuse anyone but to see this stuff go on in the game and have nowhere to vent your frustrations out is not a good practice either. Now most making accusations already have there mind made up and talking to them is like talking to a rock but to get a couple people pacified by explaining that it could be this or that that's what these forums should be about helping other players. We as a community got to stop saying that auto locks don't exist and other magic that's seen every day.

i for one been here MEMBER SINCE: 13-09-2008 and have see a lot of stuff but im not going to let a player that has less respect for the game then i do to ruin mine ill do mine 100% legit and feel better about it in the end. As for these magic players ill catch them slacking with their tools off and it will be sweet as im not going to let this ruin my game. Others need a little reassurance some need a lot lol.

i guess what im trying to say that even if you need proof to prove something happened sometime it sits a little better if you got somewhere to vent about it and if not the forums then where.

have your ever ran in to a hacker? I am more than sure you have after all this time on game. Do you ever make any post of hackers? by the way you write I am sure you haven't not unless you can prove it. If you have I am sure a lot of people here like myself would like a link to the videos you have made on hackers.

Have you ever ran into a hacker before? You, as well as Big Point know they are out there, it is no big secret. You act like you have Innocent eyes to topics that deal in hack issues. But you have a point, no ones has posted up any videos on it, maybe because Big Point does not allow videos and links of such nature to be posted on this forum that deal in that kind of activity.

We would like to see some of your post on Hackers Okapi maybe you have some good evidence on some of your videos.
