Just thinking that the new shield boosting formation is too OP for current Hp standards besides for citadel. Think. Standard bo2, level 16 adds 6%, on level 6 and 16 drone 32% boost, Hercules another 15%, 25% from bubble, 180% from thingy, 10% from design, 50% from boosters, equaling to 318% boost to shields on drones, and with 20 shields on drones, that's 636k shields. I know I messed up on calculations there cuz I don't know what multiplies by base and what by cumulative or total, so that's minimum. Then 15 more, without the Hercules and drone boosts is 406,500 more. 1,042,500 shields MINIMUM and yeah there are mess ups in there considering Ufe can already hit that easily. So let's just double that presumably or triple rather. 3 mil shields per config, 6 total, only less than 400k Hp. 8% of 6 mil is 480k, well over what you could have. My point isn't just that you could die without your enemy even using moth before your shields run out, but that also this is OP as hell on a balanced setup. And no I'm not talking about drill for balance atm. Spearheads can already carry 1 mil shields with their amazing speed and hit 40k x4 at the same time. Is this really what we need?

 

Save your review for the test server, the current stats on the formation are not final and DO has said they will be letting players test them and give feedback before they are released onto the actual servers.

 

Lets save it for the formations. We dont want them!!!

 

we will adapt to it with time, and after month or 2 i think no one will want to play without new formations.
btw idk whats the big deal, i want dmg formation for npc's. i am free player and i need more dmg to make more uri in less time.
pvp will not suffer much, only in first days before everyone get most of new formations.

 

where is test server?

 

test server will be open tomorrow. Not sure if formations will be part of it.
