    Hi, i logged in after many months and i have a couple of questions.

    1) How do i change my name? (dont know what i was thinking when i named my self dr.led...

    2) Where is everybody????? seriosuly, i traveled from 1-1 to 1-8, and i only saw 3 ships.... even the PVPs where empty... Same with chat.. just a couple of players where on-line...

    Global 7 is the server i play in, MMO. official name Dr.Led[GR] (hope i will change it soon)

    Ohh bro If you are on servers after number 1 you will not see full maps :) Those servers are empty, probably 80% of game population play on main servers. You can change your name by clicking on Pilot Sheet/Edit Profile/Pilot name .

    Global America or Global Europe? The time you are on makes a difference. In the morning lots of people are sleeping, and its Sunday so people are also getting up thinking about family and services... Now of course it depends on the time zones people live in, and what hemisphere. Anyways, I am not that versed on global servers but those are my theories...

    and there is no way i can change server without losing everything i have?

    Unfortunately no. If you want to play on any other server, you've to start from the beginning.

    Maybe try logging in at a different time during weekends to see if there's any difference.

    Nah.. i cant start over.. i have finally built a relatively fine ship and i cant imagine how hard it would be to do it all over from nothing..

    Anyway i sent a mail to the support in case they can help me out but i will probably just quit darkorbit again.

    ( by the way, which server is the most active??)

    I guess it depends on which GE server you are on but the main thing you should look at is the time you play. Also, you should probably play GE1 or 2. Maybe a couple more hours and then check your server for activity. Based on the time players should start getting on soon. Kids are just barely getting out of school right now and the day shift will be getting off of work soon. It may be that way on all global servers, I don't know.... That is the case for the servers I play, none of them global...
