I have had played this game a bit and I still call it P2W [Quite obviously because mostly IN most cases] I still enjoy the game.

Although biggest problem currently on my part is. That players that are new to the game. Do not have the space to grow. And those players who do not want to be (Extra Credit term inbound) Money whale. I do admit that I have spent money in to this game [And I have difficulties still to say was it worth it or not]

I do know that there are players who don't understand this but the thing is. You spend maybe more or less than half of your life learning. No matter did you want that or not. You must be ready for that you learn.

To the point now though. What server is currently the one where new players can grow in piece because. Right now I just see so much money whales around me and even shooting me. That it in the second part. Really feels unfair but there are just fact that it can be that player has had been for a long time playing this.

Anyway I hope this does give some idea to Kingpoint or whoever is now responsible over Dark Orbit that they should give the newbs the space and limit the smurfing [Because quite honestly I see too much of that already in other games]

Yeah I have spent only two times my money on this and I can say that. IF any other company would have made this game. They would have made it much more better but still saving the what the game is now.

This game HAS a good idea and it is great but... Just the fact that it is "Trying" to be Free to play game. Is not okay. It gives the genre A really bad image.

  4. Np, BP care for the paying player.

Oh god that name... It is haunting me! *Goes near of a bush while low in health and gets killed by ultimate* "OAH! What just happened!? *realizes what happened* Oh I got killed by literal Bushren... *chuckles* That nearly gave me a heart attack..."

Yeah I played League of Legends too. High Five. Anyway... If BP would realize that through actually caring about customers. They would make A LOT of more money. Although that would mean they would loose some money first.

  6. D O had a VERY nice start, they had already have more player then LoL. But now...
But I like the basic idea/strategy of D O, it's very different compared to other MMO games, but the P2W content is in this game...a little BIG point
Set some wards and don't face check, then your life will be easy...But WAIT, this noob champ has flash!!!! No hope for escape, DEMAC....!!!

  7. D O was a good game when FE was the best ship available with full Bio. Their downfall was the inclusion of the LF-4 and resulting UFE player. The only players enjoying this game now are "Money Whales" but even they are leaving the game along with the newbs they have driven out of the game. The ONLY players that will be here soon will be crying because they can only hunt their UFE friends or do gates because they hate to grind NPC's, as all the others have given up on this CASH COW Game (have to give CASH like a cow gives milk).

  8. The OP never stated what server was started on. There are tons of threads on here where players are looking for a more active or crowded server. This thread stands out. However, at the same time, what server did DO start you on?

Just about all servers have players having a party on the new players. It has gotten to be about the players mentality now. UFE are trying to crunch the PVP missions as that is all they have, and its easier to pop a new player than someone their own level. When they pop you, it really strokes their ego. If it is always the same player popping you, try asking the player to "kindly" try to do the NPC missions you have. If you ask nicely, they may back off, and even more help you out. I started a very limited account in Dec, and have been fortunate to only be popped 74 times. A handful of it has been by same company shooters but I think the same player has only shot me maybe 3 times max, at least in a day. I am now level 15 so I am sure you can get far easily if you play as normal players do. What ever you do, don't have fits in chat about getting popped. That strokes the egos too much, in the wrong way.

If you want a less crowded server then try GB1 its a ******* ghost town most days you will be the only player on the server.

  10. where is the part that says they only care for the paying players? I'm on a noob account playing free at the moment its a long road but so is ever other mmo's item get sold like any other game for real money for premium players there is nothing that u cant get in game without paying real money to fight the top players who spend u just want everything handed to you on a plate its a company at the end of the day and there here to make money plane and simple

  11. Try getting help from support and answer your own question.
The game has had some major changes (not all for the better) that have been adverse to the free player and as such have created a major rift in the game which is causing it to be too hard for a NEW (not a newb) account to look past as they do not KNOW what the potential of a little work is. There are very few players even willing to help them learn what they can (are supposed to) do, let alone who or what they are supposed to attack (yes they have the starter quests walking them through it but that does not address any of the PvP game or functions). And trying to find a clan to join to finish the starter quests is not as easy as it sounds (no one accepting/reading applications, some worried about RANK won't talk to a NEW player, and inactivity of Leaders cause even more problems) I actually created my own clan just to finish the mission, after applying to over a dozen clans who told me to send application.

The best way to find the INACTIVE servers is to just join them and look at the Top Users list and see what percentage of the top 500 players are "Basic Space Pilots" average for an active server is 10-15% the other is to look at how many ZERO rank players (these either never did the starter quests or are banned/lost accounts) are in the server over 50% is fairly dead also. I know both of the servers I play CAN be active at times while others they are like a ghost town (35-45% Zero and 12-15% T U BSP).

Good luck finding a server you like.

  12. I don't say they ONLY care for the paying player. Of course, it's a company, every MMO have some problems with P2W content. But in D O, this content is too "over powered" for the payers.

Or count the playing time of all players (e.g in one week).

  13. global america 4. join mmo and i'll be happy to help you out. :)

GB2 & Scandi2 are also enough inactive for newcomer to build ship somewhat fast + very cheap auction.
