[SC] Payment Prices

I play on the Global Europe server from Azerbaijan. I love this game, but it is hard to keep up with other without purchasing uridium or premium and etc., which I occasionally do. The problem is, the currency of Azerbaijan; Manat has been devaluated twice in the last 2 years. In February 2015 1 Azerbaijani Manat was equal to 1.10 Euro. Now, one Azerbaijani Manat is equal to 0.49 Euro. Thus the same amount of Uridium is two times expensive for me now....

Not only that, there is a vast difference in Income of EU countries and us. 150,000 Uridium costs 50 Euros which is approximately 102 manats. Acording to Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan, average monthly salary is equal to 500 manats (Before Taxes!). This means that a single purchase of 150,000 is equal to more than 20% of the monthly salary! If we deduct the taxes from the salary, then that amount would be at least 25%!

On the other hand, lets compare that to some other countries of Europe;

Germany: Monthly Salary After Tax: 2,270 Euros. A purchase of 150,000 Uridium is equal to: 2.2% of monthly income.
United Kingdom: Monthly Salary After Tax: 2,102 Euros. A purchase of 150,000 Uridium is equal to: 2.37% of monthly income.
Italy: Monthly Salary After Tax: 1,762 Euros. A purchase of 150,000 Uridium is equal to: 2.83% of monthly income.
Czech Republic: Monthly Salary After Tax: 837 Euros. A purchase of 150,000 Uridium is equal to: 5.97% of monthly income.
Bulgaria: Monthly Salary After Tax: 406 Euros. A purchase of 150,000 Uridium is equal to: 12.3% of monthly income.

Even in the country with smallest monthly income, the difference is huge. Don't you think Darkorbit should evaluate the situation and charge prices according to the national currency and income? Currently, a player in Germany can get 10 times more uridium than I do, simply because of the recent devaluations of Manat.

 

I would say you would have better luck on the German Forums instead of on the English Forum. We pay $50 USD for 150K Uridium which is $10 USD higher than the European Countries pay and it seems to be on a decline so we are paying more in the future too.

 

People would just take advantage of the situation, and it would be like venezuela acounts all over again

I know it isn't fair, and I don't think Dark Orbit would set it up for different countries, because others would find a way to cheat it. The only suggestion I can give is wait for the crazy sale of Uridium which give you 400% more for your money. Here in the USA it is on Sunday night mostly. That when I buy it because that is the only time I can afford it.

 

Best would be if they would cut the price of uridium as its so damn overpriced.
